Works Great
Had a trail of ants coming in my bathroom from around the window. I put a couple of these on the window frame before I went to bed. At first, these traps attracted a ton of them and I thought 'Oh no, what have I done?' But by morning, that trail of ants was gone! Very happy with this product!

Great Product!
It really worked!!! I had ants starting to invade my kitchen this Spring. These really drew the ants to the bait. I watched the ants crawling all over it for about two days and "Bingo", they must have all gone back to the nest and died. I haven't seen one since. I'm impressed!

I liked that it actually works! It did not work the same night I put down, BUT, the NEXT MORNING, there was not a SINGLE ANT, (ZERO), and its been weeks since I used, and I have not seen even 1 ant!!!! Product is great!!!

Effectiveness
The roach ones work but this doesn't seem to, the ants have very little interest in it I had to put a dollop of pancake syrup on the top just to get the ants to acknowledge it. I don't think I'll buy these anymore. Also I still see any activity in the area if the baits

Only brand I’ll use.
Been using these for about 20 years. I’d tried other brands, well known names like combat and such, with moderate success, but,I was living near Seattle and got invaded those pesky little buggers that bite and Hurt You! Went to the store and grabbed these, within an hour or 2, the stream of ants on my bathroom sink was noticeably reduced, by the next morning, they were gone. So, now, every year, when I see the first ants of ant season, I toss some of these out and they’ve never failed me. The deal is, the army ants grab some of the poison and bring it back for the queen and BAM it kills off the colony.Of course it helps to not have trash and food debris lying around— but that’s a good idea anyway. ( Pic is just to have a pic,,,,, though I think I’ve had ants kinda like these,,, I think. )

Appears to be working
Discovered an anthill close to a favorite tree. Needed a solution that was not dangerous to the roots of the tree. Placed two of these under rocks to hold them in place near the base of the tree and now we’re seeing very few ants. We’ve had some rain so we’ll put a couple more out. These seem to be a good solution for ridding an outdoor area of ants. Fortunately, we don’t have any ants inside the home!

🐜🐜 Hot Shot Ant Bait - Pet-Friendly but Ineffective 🐜🐜
I purchased the Hot Shot Ant Bait hoping for a long-term solution to our ant problem, especially since the packaging advertised it would kill the queen and colony and work for six months. While I appreciated the peace of mind knowing it was pet-friendly, I unfortunately didn't notice a significant reduction in the number of ants around our home. Despite using the entire 8-count pack, the infestation persisted to the point where I ultimately had to call in professional pest control services. While the pet-friendly aspect is a definite plus, the lack of noticeable effectiveness was a major drawback in my experience.
