I saw some reviews that stated they were stale, however the product title clearly states they are uncooked so I took my chances.I first tried Fox nuts from the little seasoned packets you can get at Whole Foods for like $6. I thought they tasted good and was hoping for a more economical way to eat them, so I bought these.Out of the container, yes they tasted “stale” with more of a spongy texture, however I still kept in mind the title said uncooked so I figure there has to be another step. I took some and tossed it with a little truffle oil, salt, and rosemary, and popped it in the air fryer. My first attempt I had the temperature too high at 350° F however lowering down to about 250° for 5 minutes and they are perfectly crispy don’t taste stale at all.Would highly recommend!

I really like the product

Been a lotus root eater for decades and it has great nutritional benefits.That's why I bought this product, but having tried it, it's little different than similar looking and tasting puffed corn, for about half the price.Not quite sure how this price can be justified.I wouldn't buy it again at this price.

I’ve ordered these lotus seeds twice. The first time, the product was excellent. Nice big/round seeds. The second time, I received a bag of really small, poor quality seeds.

I bought these for a recipe I tried. Never had them before so I don't know if they're good quality or not. Recipe wasn't good so probably won't use them again.

I tried these, different brand, at a friend's house so wanted to have them around as a snack. However, to me they are tasteless, although low in calories. Might be better with seasoning added.
