We made a great choice...
While attempting to convert from a conventional setup to a rainfall we were faced with several choices. Round head or square? 8", 12" or up to 16"? Spend $30 or $300?We went round- it's a better match aesthetically, and it makes sense that the water distribution would be more consistent. We chose the 12". 8" just seemed like more or the same, and with flow limited the 16" seemed like the fixed flow would be too spread out and might feel like needles hitting our skin. We then chose this particular brand based on reviews. When we built the house we put in very expensive name brand fixtures, and after replacing all of them within 10 years I vowed not to overspend, so a new $30 head every year isn't an issue and worth the gamble on longevity. This head has a nice heft to it, comes very nicely packaged with a installation wrench, several spare silicone nozzles, a spare screen/washer, and a flow restrictor that you can put in. It is set up at 2.5 gallons per minute, and you can put in the restrictor to take it down to 1.8 gpm if you wish (or need to based on old pipes, etc.).Installation is super easy, but that should be true of any head. Finish (Brushed Nickel for us) was as expected and perfectly matched the shower arm we bought from a different company. Packaging was great, but still minimal and not at all wasteful.First thing we noticed was that we didn't need to have the water as hot because body coverage is far better than the conventional setup. Volume was perfect right out of the package. Super happy with that.We made a great choice- wouldn't change a thing. It's just the head, and so to get a true rainfall you'll need an extension arm and likely a gooseneck to raise it above you. We paired this head with the arm below bought here on Amazon. That too is a great product.Aquaiaw Shower Arm and Flange, 12.6 inch, Solid Brass, Both Soldered 1/2 NPT Tapered Threads, Round, PVD Brushed Nickel, Gooseneck Showehead Arm with Escutcheon, Wall Mount, for Showerhead Max.16 inch

Love these!
I upgraded all the showers in my home with this rain shower head. Makes a huge difference and looks so chic. The only thing is it’s hard to clean in between the rubber spouts. Love it for the price!

We like this one.
The media could not be loaded. My previous showerhead measured 12” x 12” square, and now I've upgraded to a 12” circle. The new one is built identically to the old one, right down to the spray nozzles. The last showerhead lasted an impressive 6 years; we replaced it because hard water deposits had accumulated on the nozzles, causing uneven sprays. Considering we used it for 2 showers a day for both of us—4 showers daily—that's quite a good lifespan. Installation was a breeze. The restrictor was conveniently included in the accessory bag, so I didn't even need to remove it. I did notice it didn’t come with Teflon tape, but I had some on hand, so it was no hassle. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my new showerhead!

great till it bursts
Ours bursted at the seam after 5 years of use, I guess the nozzles became too clogged… just ordered a new one since it’s cheap, has a reasonable life span and makes for a great shower. Might be less for people with hard water though
