I haven't taken pictures on a DSLR in a while but recently shot at an event. I went to upload the photos to my MacBook and panicked when I realized that I didn't have a cord compatible with both the camera and the laptop. The camera is old and doesn't have wifi or bluetooth, and my MacBook doesn't have an SD card slot that would fit the card I was using...So, I decided to just bite the bullet and order a USB adapter, thinking it would cost at least $15ish. To my great surprise I saw this product on Amazon for a MUCH lower price, read the positive reviews, and ordered it with one day shipping through Prime!I am now sitting here one day after my near picture uploading panic attack with the photos successfully uploaded to my computer!There was literally ZERO hassle when it came to using this adapter! I was a little sketched out for a second when I put the adapter onto my USB cord though because it leaves a pretty significant gap between the adapter and the base of the USB, but as soon as I plugged it into my MacBook, it prompted me to connect my camera and the photos, although there weren't very many of them (under 100), uploaded within minutes!I am extremely happy with this purchase and surprised with how well these little adapters worked given the low price! These really got me out of a jam, and I think they will be very useful to have around in the future! Thanks so much!

I've had these USB-A female to USB-C male adapters for a few weeks now, and they've been working flawlessly. I mainly got them to use my existing flash drives with my Legion Go—specifically for installing SteamOS and Bazzite—and they've handled the job without any issues.It was definitely a more budget-friendly solution compared to buying a new USB-C flash drive. I also appreciate that the pack comes with three adapters—super convenient to have extras lying around so I don’t have to go hunting for one when I need it.Overall, solid quality, no connectivity problems, and great to have on hand. Highly recommend if you need a simple, affordable way to bridge the gap between USB-A and USB-C devices.

Cheap and they work, but data transfer rate seems to only be about 30MB/s max, so these basically just run at USB 2 speeds not USB 3 like they claim. I tested on a couple of different devices using a thumb drive that will transfer at 100+ MB/s when plugged in directly. I still give these 5 stars just because they were $3 for 3 of them and they work great for mice, keyboards, controllers, and other USB2 devices. Build quality seems good, the shell is aluminum and the plugs and ports seem good quality.Recommended if you are just wanting to free up your USB 3 ports from lower speed devices by moving them to unused USB C ports, not recommended if you need actual USB 3 speeds.

They work fine on a MacBook Pro as a USB-A to USB-C adapter and work on a Samsung phone as OTG adapter with a thumb drive. To be clear I have no complaints but they feel cheap and the fit on both ends is very tight, so only 4 stars. For the price they are excellent value, though.

great to have in the adapter collection these days. I had a flash drive, USB A, that was loose and would come disconnected from the machine. Using the adapter, it fit snugly on both ends to use the USB C port instead.

Works fine price is right, Be aware that body of adapted is smaller than a USB prong some some of it will remain exposed. It doesn't affect function, but if it offends your sense of aesthetics...
