Tapo hub works very well but gets very hot
The tapo smart hub works very well and serves the intended purpose of coordinating the smart devices. I am very satisfied with the functionality of the Hub app also and the degree of automation supported by the tapo ecosystem. Communication between devices is quick and haven't noticed any lag at all. However, the hub gets very hot and stays hot always, it's not clear why this is happening, so I'm worried about its longevity. Will have to wait and see.

Had to buy this to complete tapo ecosystem
Though this is unnecessary device and is mandate from the company to have it in order to use their equipments and complete their ecosystem..the only thing I liked about is siren which is loud enough and can be used wirelessly

Very cost effective intrusion detection system
What surprised me most is that the door sensor and the hub have excellent range. The hub in the ground floor was able to connect the door sensor on the 2nd floor terrace door. Response time for alerts is good. Alarm also working fine. So far so good.
