Great set of pens.
It is exactly what i expected it to be like. It looks the best when used on a dark surface. The ink is super fluid. Really happy with the purchase.

Excellent packaging and delivery
The product meets my expectation. Good to use for writing on cards or doing outlines on mini paintings. I ordered special dark paper to use these. As I prefer more pigments, I will continue using paints in my regular artworks.

Value for money pens from Sakura
I bought these pens by mistake. Wanted to purchase gelly roll but ended up in ordering souffle. But I must say , I did a perfect mistake. 😃These pens literally work on every surface. I have used it on paper, leather, stone, wood for my mandala art.Love the soft soothing pastel shades. MUST BUY for all stationary lovers like me.

Very bad.
Very bad quality of the ink. Not working in black pages.

Very light. Ok for dark surfaces
The colours are very light and watery and not as vibrant as you would want them to be. They look ok on a black background, but on white is quite faded. The colours are nice shades of pastel, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Great!
I love the pastel colours. They write on black paper, that's why I bought them in the first place. It takes like about a min for the ink to set and get remarkably visible. It's really good. I got these for my scrap book.

Absolutely love these pens!
These pens are so much like paint pens and hence it takes about five minutes to completely mattify/dry down to its true colours. The kind of paper you use is a considerable factor how the ink dries down on said paper. On an 80 GSM bond paper, the ink looks quite smoother compared to when used on a black sheet of paper, where it looks like the paper has more absorbency and hence the ink has dried down to give a chalky finish. Don't expect it to be vibrant because these are 'pastel' colours, after all. They are supposed to look light, soft, dusty and matte. The ink flow is pretty good. Make sure you use the pen evenly if you're going to colour with it. Running over a coloured area again which isn't dry might cause the pen to scratch the ink off that surface. I use it mostly to add backgrounds or used it in combination with sketch pens for small doodles.I'd like to take one star off because these pens are really not 3 dimensional as stated, although they do feel a bit raised in texture. Again, this depends on the type and absorbency of the paper/surface.Over all, these pens are great. Definitely would get them again.
