Bought as a gift, but was impressed at the range of experiments contained in such a relatively small box

The media could not be loaded. My son was over the moon with the bouncy ball experiment. He had so much fun mixing different colors, and it was a great way for him to learn some cool science stuff. I also really appreciated that the kit comes with safety goggles and gloves, so the kids were protected.It also kept both my 9 year son and his 12 year cousin busy for hours. It's not easy to find something that let kids of different ages play together, but this kit is perfect for that,If you want to get your kids excited about science, this kit is a fantastic choice.

This is a great experiment kit, it has tons of stuff in it, hours of things to do!It comes with two books that describe the particular experiments in great detail. They are fairly well written and include illustrations and warnings. They also explain the science behind each experiment to an extent.Most of the items in the box are farily good quality, but still single use and I expect they wont last very long after. Still, its a very good kit and if the price is right its a good value too!

This is a great set. Just the process of opening it was a joy, there is a lot contained in this set and you just keep seeing more. It has two excellent experiment instructions books and the instructions are detailed and easy to follow, with 2 to 3 max on a page in the larger book and similar in the small book.They explain what they are trying to prove, what you need to do the experiment (with pictures), any extramaterials/ingredients you need, It gives step by step instructions and in each case it gives pictures as to the results.There are so many experiments that are interesting even to adults. There is enough here to keep kids coming back for more and where kids of different ages can play together and get different things from the experiments and carry out multiple experiments at one time.The following is a small subset of the experiments available but gives an idea of the type of experiments (as does the images from the manuals).Some example experiments from the 250 are Volcano eruption and snow eruption, tornado in a bottle, artificial snow, alginate worms glow in the dark, making coloured rubber egg, orange peel fireworks, colour changing flowers, shaving cream rain cloud, sunrise in a cup, floating drawings, make playdough, cans acrobatics . Just the titles and the ideas made my friends kids light up.So many of these I want to see even as an adult. A great gift, that offers many different things to try without getting bored. This is a 250 experiment science kit set suitable for girls and boys. There is a detailed clear colour well illustrated manual with step by step instructions and the majority of the stuff is included although there is a few household items that you may need to add. This is great for rainy days and has produced hours of entertainment and we have only done a few experiments. This would make a great gift and offers a wide range for fun and educational purposes. There is loads in the box we look forward to doing more

This is going to take a while to get through all of the different experiments in this potentially fun educational box. I think it's a marvellous set, with many experiments I remember from my youth and school days decades ago. Brings back pleasing memories. Very pleased with it.

An awesome birthday present for my niece. She got straight to business creating the volcano lava. The kit has loads of stuff to make kids enjoy the experiments and science. Instructions are clear and easy to follow.
