USB Wireless Android Auto USB AdapterIts been working really well. The sound quality is better than Bluetooth but not as good as a physical USB cable connection. Google maps works well enough. Every time I start my car it will automatically connect within 10 seconds without me having to do anything, which is really the top convenience factor of this module.If you're itching to have top music quality then just plug your phone back into the USB cable, but I find that throughout the work week and running errands I am content with the sound quality.Overall I would highly recommend this USB adapter.

I purchased this item in July 2024. It was easy to pair with my Toyota Camry and worked flawlessly. Fast forward to June 2025, I began to have problems with the unit losing connection with my Camry, then it stopped working altogether. I sent an email to their customer support team and was contacted the next day asking for some brief information which I sent. They immediately sent instructions for updating the firmware and said if this didn’t work to let them know and they would make things right. The firmware update (which was very simple to do) fixed the unit. It is now working again! This company stands by their products! I would not hesitate to purchase from them in the future!

The device is easy to pair to a single device. I have not tested switching from one device to another yet. Works great with one caveat.Pros:- Plug and play in my car initially- Easy to pair with my Pixel 7 Pro- Small enough to hide in the center console. Does not interfere with the limited storage space. Allows clear access to the second USB port.- Once connected, Android Auto runs great. No issue with screen resolution, sound or lag.Cons:- After a couple of uses, I noticed that Android Auto would sometimes not load in my car's infotainment center. I had to press and hold the home button to "wake up" the screen. This happened every time that I started the car.-- Troubleshooting steps taken:- Turned off the Bluetooth connection (phone to car) but left phone's Wi-Fi on. This did not resolve the issue.- I checked for an update for the adapter and found that the firmware was already up-to-date.- I contacted MSXTTLY customer service and they told me to enable developer settings in Android Auto and try the following:- Select Wireless Android Auto (this was already set)- Check "Allor car and phone to negotiate" for Video ResolutionAfter making the above changes, I still had the same issue. Their CS told me to select either Mode 1 or Mode 2 under Delayed Start to see if either resolved the issue. They did not. I had my car set to start the camera view on start. When I turned this feature off, the adapter worked as designed. It appears that there should be a customizable delay to accommodate this feature so that I can utilize both.Overall, I am pleased with the device. I no longer have to connect my phone each and every time I get in the car. I will, however, still connect for long trips simply to keep my phone charged. Wireless is more beneficial when running multiple errands all day.

I had been looking for an adapter to get wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay in my car. I bought this on sale during Prime Big Deal Days last year.There were enough reviews saying it was a little slow to connect that I was a little concerned but there's never a time when I jump in my car and immediately take off and need connected immediately. To my surprise this connects almost as fast as my wired connection. When I unlock my door the USB port power turns on so once I'm in the car and start it, my phone has already connected to the dongle and is just waiting on the infotainment system to finish booting.I did have a problem with updating the dongle to the newest firmware just before Christmas. I contacted customer service and they quickly gathered my information and provided step by step instructions and I was back up and running almost instantly. The only delay was getting the time to go through the steps but it didn't take more than like 5 minutes.I highly recommend this dongle. It was worth it and now I'm probably going to be getting a few more of them for family members.

The item worked seamlessly for six to nine months but then started to act up. I contacted customer service and they walked me through and update and now it's working great again. They were very helpful and responsive via email.

Purchased, arrived in a few days, plugged it in, synced with phone, works like a charm - no more cableNow, what I did find is that on a long drive this thing gets hot and starts to stutter with the connection so I would say this is great when you just need to jump in your car, drive for a hour or two and jump out - say daily commute or whatever run to the store you need to do. But on a very long drive in hot weather pull it and use a cable.Oct edit: Started to have issues like screen freeze but, unpaired my iphone, re-paired it to car - all good again - seems that updates to the phone might cause issues but the fix is very easy so I still stand by my original ratingAlso it does hang onto your phone (at least in my toyota) for about 50 seconds so be aware of that - otherwise, phone calls are great, streaming music great, texts and all of siri work just fine - should have purchased when I got the car

Great product for being able to go wireless but I just don't like a couple of minor things. First, it forces the wifi on the phone to turn on and uses wifi connectivity on the phone which is not a big deal unless sometimes that I needed to connect to Hotspot internet while in the car which was disturbing so I couldn't connect to wifi network while connecting to the car. Another factor is sometimes it doesn't connect easily and I need to unplug and replug to make it connect to my phone. I tried switching between android and apple just once but it was not that easy and made me go solo android auto. It gets the job done for now but I wish it was better
