Wow, this is a great book! The illustrations are sweet and the lesson taught is something we all need, adults and children. This story helps children and adults see the process our human minds go through when something disappointing happens. This story will help children understand others when they are having a hard time, it will also help them understand their own feelings. And I love the bunny, the bunny did just what my pet bunnies do, it listened. I would recommend this book to everyone from toddler to adult.

Very great book. This was not bought for a child as this was shown to me by my therapist and it reminded me a lot of my girlfriend. Very, very nice message and we could all use someone in our lives like the rabbit. I’m so thankful to have her in my life.

It's rare to have an absolute favorite picture book that surpasses every other children's book, but this one has been my favorite for over a year due to it's thoughtful and poignant message for kids dealing with disappointment and failure. I have ordered many copies of this book to gift at baby showers, birthdays, holidays, and also to give to kids and adults struggling with grief. This book is a masterpiece. It deserves all the recognition in the world for distilling a hard concept into an animal-filled story that's engaging for kids and meaningful for adult readers. I literally cannot sing enough praises about this incredible book.

My daughter had me buy this for her very young children. It is a wonderful story, beautifully illustrated, which gently encourages the young reader to be open to sharing their feelings and frustrations while encouraging those listening to just listen and be there for the child. Good lesson for adults, too!

This book has such a beautiful message that people of all ages need to hear.

There’s a lot of power in the message. It’s not just for kids. I originally read it on Libby and loved it so much I came here to buy it so we can read it whenever we want.

Read through this book when it came and was immediately bawling. What a precious, sweet book (with beautiful illustrations!) and reminder that sometimes the best thing we can do for another is just be present and listen.
