Mixed nuts
Nice snack that entices you to continue eating. After opening, it never closes well. The lower container collapses when you try to close it. May be it was my fault.

Generous mix of nuts, irritating packaging
The variety of nuts in this little plastic tub puts other mixed nut packs to shame. Where others are dominated by cheap peanuts with just one or two of the posher nuts (cashews, brazils etc.), this one has barely any peanuts in it. It’s a really interesting mix to eat, with some good chunky brazils, very tasty hazelnuts, and some firm almonds. It’s a great mix for snacking, and it would seem a bit of a shame to waste it in cooking like the product photos suggest. The plastic tub, as well as being a little un-eco-friendly, is also a little irritating. The plastic lid is too thin and doesn’t fit back on the pot very well, and it’ll pop off too easily for it to be useful as a travel snack. If this is for a picnic, you’ll want to move the nuts to a different tub before you leave the house. The price of four quid (at time of writing) is still a bit steep, even though it’s advertised as being a 60% reduction (but a ten quid price tag for 180g would be absolutely ridiculous). Supermarket-brand mixed nuts, Ocado being the ones I tried most recently, maybe aren’t quite as generous with the peanuts-to-not-peanuts ratio, but they are also substantially cheaper. So even though it’s a really enjoyable mix to get crunching into, because of the value and the packaging I’m only giving it four stars.
