The Zhou creatine monohydrate powder is decent but not the best I've ever had. It has a good price point and is lab tested, but I have concerns.1) Which lab? Most supplements are not third party tested (NSF, Informed Choice), which means we have to trust the company that what's on the label is what's in the package. This is probably fine for us average gym goers, but if you are a drug-tested athlete, go find another brand.2) This creatine is extra powdery. The scoop is a little small (I keep measuring 3-4g per scoop), and it doesn't dissolve well in water or proats. It's gritty.3) This was an individual issue, but the package I received was improperly sealed. The paper covering over the creatine was slightly off on one edge, allowing some of the creatine to escape. Not a big deal and I get that it happens in manufacturing, but it's still something to note.

Monohydrate creatine powder is both an effective and affordable option. This didn’t have any weird flavors to deal with and it just mixed right into my post-workout juice. It dissolves pretty well but there is some leftover grit on the bottom sometimes. As for results, it's still early, but I'm noticing I'm pushing myself a little harder during workouts. The recovery seems a bit quicker too. Maybe I’m getting in better shape, maybe it’s the creatine, hard to say. But I think it is helping and I am going to stick with it.

The Zhou Nutrition Creatine is on par with some of the top mainstream brands that he has tried.While he does normally prefer something flavored, he can mix this unflavored powder into any shake or smoothie without negatively affecting the taste. Or, you can just add it to plain water, and drink it that way, too. On its own, it still doesn't taste bad. There really isn't any flavor whatsoever.The powder is fine and mixes quickly when shaken vigorously in a blender bottle or blended in a blender. With just a spoon and room temperature water, it took a little longer to mix but still fully dissolved. (no clumps left behind)As with other good quality creatine powders, this product does help tremendously with muscle recovery and fatigue, especially if you really push yourself weight lifting. My husband didn't notice any jitteriness or digestive issues which can come with many supplements.

I got this since I'm looking to build some muscle in the gym and heard that creatine is great for making muscles look bigger. I like how it's actually unflavored so I can easily mix it with my preworkout or postworkout drink and get those gains! It also works well in smoothies, soda, and justa bout anything you can sneak regular protein powder in. There's no aftertaste (thank god) and has served it's purpose very well!
