Sturdy, easy assembly, measure carefully!
Very happy with this desk for what it is. Lots of reviews mentioned malfunctioning lights, but this was not a feature I needed so I did not install them. All pieces arrived well packaged and labeled. The directions came in a comprehensive packet and included both configurations so you didn’t need to worry about mental gymnastics. Directions were clear and easy to follow—primarily images, with some minor guidance for when and when not to tighten screws.Screws and other joining tools weren’t labeled as well, but they’re manageable. It included two sets of Allen wrenches so you and a friend could assemble together.I think in total it took about two hours with two people, so it was a quick assembly for how complicated it initially seemed. Only at one point did we encounter a tight fit where holes did not align, but it was easily managed. The desk is sturdy and fits nicely in the space. Definitely note the measurements, though! There’s less space on the shorter part of the L than I anticipated, so having an additional spot to have my WFH materials ended up a little tight. All worked out fine, just had to reevaluate some of the permanent fixtures’ locations. The raised portion meant for the monitor is a little high, so with a chair fully elevated, the keyboard and mouse situation become a little awkward. May end up getting some additional accessories to elevate these pieces for comfort. The monitor stand is a little larger for the raised portion of the desk as well, so I had to carefully secure it to avoid cat disasters, but that’s only a minor inconvenience and an easy fix.The built in outlet portion is nice, albeit it feels cheap and I don’t know if it’ll hold up. I’ll report back if there are issues. The overall finish is nice, but by no means does it look luxurious. It’s obviously particle board and the laminate pattern repeats noticeably, so I’d optics is a concern, the desk isn’t going to be particularly impressive or accomplish any executive-suite suite vibes.Overall very happy with it. Lots of storage, although the drawers can be a little finicky since they’re collapsible cloth. At the end of the day, it provides what I need (lots of desk real estate with ample storage), and you can’t beat the price.

Don't like the drawers but the rest is good.
Ever try to put something together with your 3 year old grandson "helping"... and by helping I mean taking random screw and putting them in any available hole... then picking up a hammer that was out for unrelated item and proceeding to "fix" it... well I can tell ya... I still managed to put this thing together. I only had to take sections i just screwed together off around a half dozen times because I missed the part of the instructions that showed on what direction certain holes should be facing... did I mention the 3 year old!... so pay attention to the holes people! Also, I read reviews on here where they say things don't line up. We'll take the instructions seriously when the picture shows the frame upside down to line up and screw in the top of the desk. Even with my house/floors being uneven as you know where, I still had no trouble... except the 3 year old "helping"... I give 4 stars because I seriously have no idea why anyone would think cloth drawers were a good idea! There is a board fastened somehow (probably glue) so the front matches the desk. I love the spaciousness of the drawers. They could probably hold quite a bit if they weren't CLOTH! I looked for a desk similar to this but with real drawers but everything is cloth! I really wasn't thrilled about the "monitor shelf" when I bought it but they all seem to have those too... don't most people own lap tops these days? But I was able to make use of it anyway. All in all, seems like a good sturdy desk with the exception of the drawers. You dont need any special tools because they provide whats needed (a hammer is not needed!) It's not hard to put together as long as you don't have a 3yo trying to measure with a measuring tape saying "3 pounds", or trying to "fix it" with the screws and a hammer. I am missing 1 silver screw for one of the handles for the drawers but I'm not sure if that's an actual miscount by the manufacturer... or a result of previously mentioned 3 year old.
