I'm satisfied!
I have been using HP products for several years. No issues with this one too. The set up and installation sheet, which contains only images, is confusing, though. I needed to get HP technician to remove some plastic stuff and packing under the cartridge! Once done, the printer is working smoothly

Overall it is ok
But right now I can't say for sure whether it is ok or not. I will know how it is only after using it. And there is a lot of toner problem in it. I have heard from customers that it prints much less pages than its 1500 page capacity. Let's see after using it how true it is. If it is so, I will comment about it.

Good Printer
Good printer from HP. Scanning quality is nice. The speed of printing is so good and the printing quality is also good. Though I was facing some issue with the connectivity but now it has been resolved.

Best budget multi function laser printer
On Packaging first. There was damage on the package{ check the picture }, luckily the printer didn't take the hit.On the printer. It's a no frills printer, best way to configure is through WiFi. Search for WiFi AP and connect to the HP LaserJet one and start the configuration through the built in web interface. Tested direct print from Windows 10 and Android, works like a breeze. Felt the power consumption is higher than 300 watts though when it's starts up and prints.

Nice printer and scanner
Bought some six months ago. A decent printer and scanner. Printing speed is nice with very little noise. Image, text printing is sharp and clear. Copy and print is easy. But setting up a wireless printer requires an app from HP . Scanner menu is a bit complicated compared to my previous HP scanner.Have not counted number of copies printed in last 6 months but still printing with original toner cartridge. Cartridge needs to be replaced and cannot be refilled as it has a chip fitted inside. Overall a nice product.

Wrong description. No Ethernet Port but Good Printer
Hp Laser 1188w : Overall it is a compact sized good printer for home use or small business. WiFi Direct & WiFi 2.4Ghz available for connectivity. You can also connect via High Speed USB 2.0 cable provided in the package. Very easy to install & connect via mobile devices using Hp Smart App or via MacBook/Laptop. Also supports latest MacOS 15.3 & MacBooks with Apple M1/M2/M3 silicon chips. It took me 15-20 minutes to unpack, install and run the printer on my iOS device and MacBook Air M2. Supports Apple Air Print. WiFi Direct printing is an additional option. Noise levels are somewhat higher. But the seller has given Wrong Description regarding Ethernet Connection/Port. There is No Ethernet Port in this 1188w model printer. The seller should correct this info in main description section & also in connectivity section.I bought this printer considering that the ethernet port would be an added benefit but there is no Ethernet port in this printer model. But I found a workaround to run it via ethernet cable by plugging printer’s USB cable in my Tp Link USB Hub & attaching ethernet cable to the Ethernet port in the USB Hub. It works great 👍I recommend this Hp laser 1188w but with a rider that you Should Not Trust the Description given by the Seller. One Star less for Wrong Description.
