Nice, classy set.
We got this for a rental. Lovely case, and my husband was impressed with how nice the chess pieces were. All the pieces store inside the 2 drawers in the case. Its a very classy product.

Trust me, don’t waste your money on a less expensive set!
Sturdy. My 9 year old grandson is learning chess so I wanted to have a game board at my house. I had originally purchased a less expensive set that had magnetic pieces and the pieces stored under the playing surface. However, when we turned the playing surface over, the checkers would fall out. With this set, the items store neatly in the drawer. This unit is much sturdier than the less expensive one. I’m very glad I sent the less expensive unit back and purchased this one, which is what I should have done in the first place! I know this set will last for years.

Beautiful wooden chess and checkers set.
This chess board came well packed. The drawers move smoothly and it looks very nice sitting out on a table. The pieces each have a place in the drawer. We are enjoying playing chess and checkers.

I studied and researched portable chess sets for what seems like forever and ended up buying this one! For this price, I know I'm not going to find anything nearly as elegant, sturdy, and giftable. I initially bought another set that was just a bit less expensive and never even played with it. I returned it and am so happy I did. I cannot say a negative thing about this set.For items like this I always ask myself, would I be happy and proud to give it to someone as a gift? This one would be a big YES in that respect.I would highly recommend this one to everyone. Buy it! I know you will be happy you did.

This game set is amazing. The pieces are beautiful, the draws that hold them are perfect. My only complaint is i didn't buy this sooner.

Very Nice Chess Set
Love this chess set! It arrived in a short amount of time and was packaged well. Just a beautiful, rich look and feel to the set when I took it out of the box. Surprisingly heavy, with a "substantial" feel to it. The dimensions were exactly what I was looking for. This set would complement any room of the house. As advertised, the pieces and pawns are wooden and weighted, and fit snugly within the side drawers. One of the extra queens was slightly tilted to one side, but was promptly replaced by the manufacturer (great customer service!). Looking forward to having many years of fun with this set.
