I have bought these a few different times now, I have bedroom night stand lights plugged into a few of them, I have them in my garage with auxiliary ceiling lighting hooked to them, and also have some beer lights plugged into them. The Kasa app makes it super easy to install and control any of them with the app. They work well and seem to be a nice quality. I've been using the first set of 4 for almost a year now and have zero complaints.

I use it to automate my outdoor light. My light will turn on once my smart doorbell detect motion in front of my door.

Should have been an easy install, except the little piece of paper with the QR code for setup blew away. And, homelink kept trying to install. Finally, got the traditional method using the switches wifi worked. Whew!

I installed the Kasa Apple HomeKit Smart Light Switch KS200P3 at my shop, and it has been an excellent upgrade. The fast response time is impressive—whether I use Alexa or the Kasa app, the lights turn on and off almost instantly. Now, after locking up, I no longer have to walk all the way up front to shut the lights off—I can do it remotely from my Samsung Galaxy or with voice commands through my Sonos Alexa-enabled speakers. Also, a neat feature is the switches have a little glowing circle when they are off so you can easily see them in the dark. I can also program them via Alexa skill or the Kasa app to turn on and off at a certain time. As an IT professional, the app set up is really nice and well thought out. I just wanted to connect together a smart switch and plug. It was very easy to do this. I used the Kasa app to initially establish connectivity to the devices and then to setup an automation between the two. No home automation is required. I only just got the product so I cannot speak to longevity. I tried to do this with Wyze, and despite their smart AI saying that it would work, I could not get it working. Chatting with their support did not help.
