Wonderful!
So fun! This kit was great!! Good practice for following directions and understanding STEM concepts. Must have good fine motor skills though- those screws are tiny!

R.O.B.O.T. fun!!
The media could not be loaded. These robots were so fun to build with our 6 year old! There are a lot of little parts, so they need an adult to help them. They are so cute and fun to play with! Great addition to your homeschool room! :)

Fascinating but a little bit flimsy
5 year old grandson enjoyed assembly and finished designs, but some of the metal pieces are a little too thin (bendable, flimsy, easy to distort or possibly break from bending). Be prepared...most of the screws are about the size of eyeglass frame screws. Too small to hold even with little fingers, need tweezers and/or magnetized tiny screwdriver for best success. Still, has been a hit with him and we had fun building together. He is adept at assembling things, otherwise might have been not age appropriate for 5 years. Their recommended age range is about right.

This is great.
My 6 yo and I had a fun time creating these machines. The instructions are not precise, which meant we attached something and then had to adjust it to figure out how to make it work. I personally thought this was a good lesson, as anytime I fix something I usually have make adjustments. Nothing extreme, but on one build we had to lower the motor because we had placed it too high. Honestly it was super fun, was challenging, makes the kids think. The one that walks, did not walk so well. But after we tinkered with it, we figured out how to make it walk better. Very rewarding.

Missing parts but fun if you can make them work
While fun.... They are lacking. First, they don't come with all the parts. The bubble machine doesn't come with the tub for bubble water, so it's really hard to find a shallow wide tub to use for this build. The lizard robot didn't come with eyes and the legs that move can't be pushed in enough so they just come off all the time. The vibrating drawing guy is ok, but you need a but piece of paper if you don't want to draw all over your table. While they are kind of frustrating to build, if you have some extra things laying around to make them work, they are quite fun.

Engaging
My 10 year old autistic son loves to build and this kept him occupied and out of trouble for a good while. He did need my help some of the time, but was mostly able to follow the instructions using the pictures. Once he completed the project he was excited to see how it worked once the batteries were in place. I really liked that there were 6 separate projects to complete for less than $20.
