My girlfriend uses her bicycle to get around, in all weathers, and over quite some distances too, hence the cycle needs a lot of regular maintenance. She had been using a variety of borrowed (from me) tools but I decided to treat her to her very own set of tools, this wonderful set. I use Wera drivers regularly for my own hobbies so I know how good they are but this set is on another level - the min-ratchet is perfect for getting into tight spaces, plus the ratchet's very small throw (only 6 degrees of travel I think) means that even if you don't have much room you can still ratchet away nicely. There are a variety of Phillips, Posidrive and Torx bits, including the highly irritating Torx Security ones, which you have ZERO chance of removing without the proper tool, plus a mix of common metric socket sizes. There's also a plain handle driver for when you just need to hold an item in place.The quality is so good you don't even have to know tools to truly appreciate it - my girlfriend immediately said "oh these are so easy to use and they don't slip!" and indeed they don't - so long as you choose the correct bit you can say goodbye to annoying rounding-out of heads - the bits themselves must be made of tough stuff because after quite a bit of use now they're still almost as-new. Add on the brilliantly designed bit holder, which grips the socket or bit firmly until you release it by raising the holder's little collar, so no more crawling around on cold ground looking for bits you've dropped, nor do the bits stick in the bit head, meaning you have to go in with pliers to retrieve it - not with these tools you don't. Works first time every time.Bonus is that girlfriend has now got the bug for home cycle maintenance so I no longer have to do it for her - she feels empowered enough to tackle any cycle task with ease, thanks to this brilliant tool set. Thoroughly recommended!

Amazing tool kit. It has pretty much any screwdriver head you would need and is small enough to put in your car or backpack, just in case. The ratcheting socket holder gives a good handle and torque to be able to loosen most items around your house with ease, and the stubby/mini screwdriver handle is comfortable in your hand.

I love this thing, bought as a gift for my dad but I’ve borrowed it more times than I can count, super natty and functional. So well made, this thing is the best of the best.Should probably buy my own!

I’ve just started a new job on a facilities team at a local college. The tools they have made available to us are pitiful, so I’m gradually building up my own set. No point struggling with garbage tools every day.This is one of the first bits of kit I’ve bought and have already used it multiple times. Changing and repairing door locks, closers, fixing furniture, all the stuff you might expect when you’re responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of a large building. Love the compact form, means I can use a much smaller, lighter toolbag.The quality of the componentds themselves is very good and I have every expectation that it will last for years.But that price? It’s expensive. I’d have had a hard time justifying it to myself (not to mention her indoors!) if I wasn’t going to use it regularly.Sometimes, though, buying a cheap tool is a false economy. Replacement because of breakage and wear over time sometimes results in spending out more in the long term.You pays your money you takes your choiceMy choice is, I’ll be checking out more Wera tools as my wages start coming in!

Absolutely fantastic kit, used professionally for years, still going strong. Reccomended

The quality of the parts in the Tool Check is without a doubt. The original bit holder that was shipped did not hold the Rapidator and the rotating bit and socket holder was too loose to stay locked in position. I contacted WERA regarding this and within a week I received a replacement holder to transfer the sockets and bits to and a new Rapidator to replace the lost one. This was much tighter and I think will last well.I gave a 3* rating due to the problem with the original product supplied, but with both the new parts supplied to fix the issues and the friendly and rapid response from WERA Customer Service, easily taking this up to the full 5* rating.
