DEWALT 20V MAX 7-1/4-Inch Cordless Circular Saw with Brake, Bare Tool Only (DCS570B)

I've had this DeWalt cordless circular saw for about a week and have used it to cut various types of 2-by material and I am impressed with its torque and ability to cut through everything that my corded circular saw could cut. Quite heavy-duty yet handles beautifully and is straightforward, even intuitive, to use. I use it with a DeWalt 5 Ah battery and that combination seems quite harmonious.I've used it for both vertical and 45 degree cuts and for both it works flawlessly.An impressive and convenient tool that frees the user from the power cord while providing all of the functionality of a corded saw. Highly recommended.

The quintessential woodworking tool. This saw works great with the 20v battery system. Don't waste your money on a 6.5in saw that can't get through a basic 2x4. If you want a portable circular saw, you can't beat this one.

I’ve been using this DeWalt 20V MAX Cordless Circular Saw for a 6 weeks, and it’s been a game changer. The brushless motor is seriously powerful—it can handle pretty much anything I throw at it, from plywood to 2x4s, without struggling. The 7-1/4 inch blade gives me a nice deep cut, and adjusting the bevel is super easy, especially with the detents at 22.5° and 45°—perfect for those angled cuts I need to make pretty often.One of my favorite things is how comfortable it feels. The grip is just right, so even after using it for a while, my wrist doesn’t feel strained. The LED light is a nice touch too, especially when I’m working in low light—it really helps me keep my cut line straight.The only downside? The ruler markings should be etched in color. Tough to see.

I have used this saw and it cuts as good as my corded one. It's great for use in the field or farm. I use a 5 amp hour battery with the saw and it has plenty of power.

I have watched this saw for a while and when it was marked way down purchased it. I have not used it much yest (a few test cuts) but it seems to function as advertised and shown in AMAZON videos. I have now purchased some 10 DeWalt 20v tools and have nothing but great results with every one of them. One suggestion for this tool would be the adding / inclusion of a laser guide line projecting the EXACT cut line of the saw blade. I have this feature on a now, well-aged CRAFTSMAN that I can no longer bet any batteries for. This LASER guide feature was a MAJOR assist for my now aging eyes.

The saw was in a plastic bag in a cardboard box with no packing. The lever that moves the blade guard is bent.Other than this, the saw is fine and operates as designed.

This is a nice saw, powerful, takes a standard skilsaw blade. It has a nice aluminum foot, good quick release hardware for angle and depth, not too heavy. Strong brushless motor.Now for the HUGE issue. Look very closely at the pics included in the item listing. I didn't catch it and ordered one. The blade is on the right side of the saw. So if you're like me and have used a standard skilsaw your whole life, this is on the wrong side. You can't see the blade like you're used to and its very hard to cut accurately. If you cut left handed this will be perfect for you.

Upgrading from a wired tool, this wireless packs the punch I need. So great to not have to worry about a cord getting in the way - and being able to take it wherever I need to around the house and around the property to get the job done. We've switched almost entirely to the Dewalt line, so I'm able to use batteries interchangeably, which has been really nice.
