The magnifier works great but had a problem with the pivot mount not locking and contacted customer service. They were very easy to deal with and sent out a new one right away.

I'm always skeptic when it comes to budget items such as these, you never know if it's crap or your found a gem. Well this is a gem. This 3x magnifier was easy to install, lined up perfectly with my optic. It does have 2 additional spacers to raise the height if needed. It comes in a nice hard plastic case. Seems to be made of quality materials and solid construction. There was a nice audible click when you push the button and move it 90° to the side when you don't need it. It's easy to adjust the windage and elevation. I fired several boxes through it and it stayed in place and didn't move. Overall i'm extremely satisfied with this and it was well worth the money.

So I will say this thing is absolutely tough. It's heavy than I had initially anticipated but it holds up to a beating.There rigidity is great the glass seems to hold up.Some pro'sWith the picatinny mount you have many options for placement. Accompanying this to your current dot or non magnification sight drastically increases your firearms versatility. Push button design is nice to roll it out of the way when magnification isn't necessary although I see a few things about. The design is easy enough to work with a multitude of different types of optics whether it be dots , irons, or a simple holographic.I think the build and design is great for a fairly good price.Some consIt's not bulky, but it isn't exactly streamlined it does fit a rifle well it and it's compact enough for PCC. It was a little stiff at first as well but with a few minor adjustments I noticed you could loosen up the set screws and work the the magnifier back and forth until it flipped over freely. Only real complaint on that aspect of it. Adding the magnifier to another magnified optic that's greater than 1.5x gave me some issues. It seems to distort the image a bit and made it harder to get just right without rearranging the optics further apart and thus making the sight aperture obsolete because without magnifier it was out of focus completely.All around ,price , build /Design, versatility I say 4/5 stars

Full metal construction in the housing and mount, has held zero well so far after a few days at range. Comes with everything in pictures and nice hard plastic case. Not sure if I will keep using the dust cover for the lense because my red dot doesn't have any but I like the option. #BIG PLUS# for me was the covers for the adjustment knobs being able to be used a the screw drivers for the adjustments, as well as the guards so they don't get bumped. It makes the magnifier a little heavier but for me, I like the trade off and no tools needed. Good buy, will recomend

!Updated Review Below!Well… this is disappointing. The flip-to-side mechanism was defective right out of the box, however, the finish was new. Because of this, I don’t believe that I had received a used item. It’s just a simple situation of a product not living up to its shining reviews. I truly was looking forward to receiving this order so… I don’t know, I guess, returning this is best. I’ll just save up a bit more and pick up a Vortex or Holosun 🙁UPDATE: It didn’t take long for Votatu to contact me and attempt to correct the order. That’s nice but, just as I had dealt with UTG, and their flip-to-side magnifier, it’s simply a matter of being able to trust the product. Perhaps I got a lemon, and it was a sample size of one. The problem is: You have to be able to trust what you use professionally, and if you don’t, no replacement is going to help. Again, thanks to the Votatu for reaching out so quickly but, I’m just going to let Amazon handle the return, spend a little more money, and get a duty ready replacement. Again, thanks.

I believe this is a copy of a much more expensive Sig brand magnifier. The moment you open the package, you know you received a quality magnifier. Comes in a very nice hard case. The glass on this magnifier is cryatal clear. The flip mount is tight and very well made. I really like the push button release. I was skeptical at first, not being one of the big brand names and at a very budget friendly price. Super happy with it and you will be too. I highly recommend this magnifier and plan to buy one or two more myself.

I've had several cheap magnifiers in the past and none of them have worked. Some didn't focus. All had horrible eye relief or parallax issues. Majority were also cheaply made (bad glass, mount or non-working adjustments).However, this product has none of those issues. You can't beat it for the money. After I bought the first one and was amazed that it act, felt and performed like a several hundred dollar optic, I bought three more.Buy it!

Inexpensive, solid, works well but the push button design quit working after a couple of use at the range. The flip mount would not lock in place even after adjusting the tension. I say it's a defective one. I contact the seller and explained what happen, got a response right away and was sent a new one. Now that's a great customer service. Will definitely buy again from this seller.
