On par with established brand, good value
I recently purchased the Magene Heart Rate Chest monitor and I must say, it's an excellent product. The quality and functionality are on par with established brands like Garmin or Wahoo, but at a much more affordable price point. Fails quickly, no support from manufacturer
Plastic that holds the strap to the unit failed after about 5 uses (4 months old) Manufacturer would not replace. Avoid.

Easy to set up and works accurately
So far so good I would say.Was easy to activate and so far seems to work accurately.Only negative point is that the strap seems to be loosening up during my ride.

Strap and unit are very comfortable to wear. At 5'9" & 220lbs, I don't even notice it on me when I'm riding my bike.Zero signs of corrosion on the metal contact points after a few weeks of daily use. It gets a fresh water rinse after every use.Accuracy seems spot on with my athletic watch and the battery still shows 100% after 3 weeks.Paired with my bike computer, phone and indoor trainer. No drop offs to report.At half the price of other make brands, this unit is an absolute steal imo.
