It’s a DisplayPort cable, and it does what it should do and fits where it should fit. Cable feels nice and thick and sturdy. length is good if your monitor is close to your pc like mine. No issues with signal other than when i first plugged it in my monitor was stubborn and refused to show DP input but that’s fixed now. Picture looks a bit better and smoother than with HDMI. works well for 1080p 240hz.

As seems to often be the case with Amazon Basics products, this DisplayPort cable does the job perfectly. I purchased the 1.8 metre version for £4.69 on sale, and it has not failed me, offering great speeds and a reliable connection between my graphics card and monitor. The length was perfect for my setup, though I would advise double checking how long (or short) of a cable you will need for your own.Using the cable is as simple as plugging in both ends and you're ready to go. Simple and effective, this cable did exactly what I needed, and hasn't faltered in the almost two years since I purchased it.

Works great for my 4k 144hz monitor, and doesn't have those annoying locking latches that make other cables impossible to remove. Oh, and it's a great price. Recommended!

Decent feeling cable, doesn't feel very cheap or anything, quite sturdy. Works fine running from my daily driver PC to an oldish HP E43 monitor. I'm only using it for 1920x1080 HD @ 60hz so can't comment on that 4K ad 8K performance, but for what I use, seems great.

Bought this cable to rule out any connection issues between my GPU and monitor (Was previously using a KVM)The cable is decent quality and works exactly as intended which is standard for most Amazon essential cables

I wasn't expecting this cable to be great with it being so cheap, but it's been very good and exceeded my expectations!
