I had a problem with my van: a couple of engine lights on and very rough running. A mechanic advised that I would need a new injector. Before 'pulling the trigger' on that expensive repair, I decided to get this OBD 2 scanner - I chose this one as I didn't want to pay a monthly subscription for those Bluetooth ones.It comes in a tidy little protective bag, like a laptop would. Looks and feels very good quality. Not too big.Set up was easy and the unit arrived fully charged.I updated it and downloaded the extra Ford files before starting.I connected up to my van and it found the VIN automatically.Scanned the van and it brought up 2 fault codes. You can click for more information and it showed two (Youtube) videos of people with similar issues as mine so I watched both videos. One of them had exactly the same issue and it also showed me how to carry out the necessary repairs (Double check the live vehicle information - with this scanner and confirm that the car thinks that the outside temperature was 215 degrees! and replace the intake temperature sensor). It worked. Cleared the codes and all is well again.This is an excellent scan tool for the home mechanic !

Fast delivery and excellent customer service. The device has connected to several brands of car without issue. Auto VIN has worked correctly all the time. The diagnostic features do what I require, but I paid a little extra to upgrade to full system. The ability to connect to Internet and email reports is very good. The device has already saved me a lot of money in unnecessary trips to a garage. Easy to use for someone inexperienced in the subject of auto diagnostics. I would recommend the Artidiag500.

First year subscription free, then after that £29.99 per year for basic. Doesn't do what I bought it for, but does read and reset some error codes.

This is a great piece of kit, works on all three of my vehicles, Mercedes, Audi and BMW. Spotted a number of faults I never knew about, so I got those all fixed, every car now has a clean bill of health.Build quality is really good, so I expect this to last a long time and I like the fact it updates itself over WiFi, so it's always kept update.If you are looking for one of these devices, then I would really recommend this one. It has all the functionality I needed and the diagnostic capabilities are first class.5 stars for me for what I needed it for.

AMAZING bit of kit, very user friendly and has many advanced functions available, for first time use only used it once at min on injector recoding on a ford 1.6 tdci , and it also did a very good full scan on all components as it was on, very very impressed, got me out of what could have been a very expensive garage cost, one job and its already paid for itself.
