Handy and robust adapters. So far they are performing well and have helped a lot with adapting to a new laptop with lots of USB C ports but no USB B ones.

This product is fantastic, it works with Android phone - Nokie G11. I use it for connecting with physical keyboard. I am tired of using my thumbs to type it on touchscreen.No special software required, just insert into port and ready to use. I have not tried with chromebook yet.Note: Be sure that it is fully inserted into port, it's best to take off the phone/tablet case (if contain) because a variety of cases has quite thick that it won't let adapter go through the hole completely.

It does the job perfectly, and the manufacturing quality is as good as it gets. The plus is firm.Keep in mind though: I'm not sure whether the metal small case acts as ground or else, but I got a good electric shock, when by accident I had mi fingers on it while my hand was touching the metal case of my iMac (to much gear, not enough space). Now, this is not a situation that would happen commonly, and the low voltage makes the shock harmless, but I was worried for my USB controller.No harm done in the end, but it's something to keep in mind if you are using it in a very cramped and busy environment like in a small workshop.

The media could not be loaded. I have multiple products from Anker since I trust them as a reliable brand that's good value for money, and these adapters are exactly the quality I was expecting from them. I needed an extra USB port since my laptop has 2x USB ports and 1x USB C port, and all my peripherals (mouse, keyboard, fitbit charger, HDD) except my phone charger use USB connections. This was a simple and outstanding fix for my problem - they work great straight our of the box, and another benefit is that the box doesn't break after you open it! (The plastic case simply clicks open by sliding a fingernail underneath the tab and then you can click it shut again for easy storage of these petite but useful adapters).
