Fantastic communication system for dirt bikes, Awesome seller!
This review for the Fodsport M1-S Plus.I received the M1-S Plus units as a replacement for the FX7 units that I had ordered. No issues with the FX7, it just didn't fit my particular needs. The seller offered to exchange the FX7s for the M1-S units. The M1-S Plus is a very nice com unit that gives the ability to connect an "old school" Ipod shuffle through the available aux port. The units worked flawlessly on mountain single track and gave us the ability to communicate about upcoming trail obstacles and helped keep our group of 9 riders together even though my wife and I were the only ones with coms. The sound quality is very good and we were able to carry on conversations as if we were standing right in front of each other. She was able to listen to her music while simultaneously being able to communicate with me which was awesome. The range in the woods is pretty good. We did loose connection a couple of times due to the wooded mountainous terrain but it automatically reconnected once she got back within range. I would say the real world range is around a 1/4 mile in woods and hills but much further in open terrain. Battery life is good as we used the units for over 2.5 hours and still had over 50% battery remaining. Setup was easy.I would definitely recommend the M1-S Plus if you’re looking for a communication unit that gives the ability to connect to other devices via an AUX cable. The seller “Fodsports Direct” was great to deal with. Very responsive to questions and went out of their way to help make sure I had the right units for my needs.

Definitely something to consider!
I just got back on the bike after 20yrs. I came from the chatterbox era. Searching for a bluetooth comms started to be a pain in the **s. I'm not rich or have extra money just to spend on an expensive device for it to only work for so long, has connection issues or issues all around. After coming across this device and did my research on it. The device is in my arsenal now. The clarity it really good. Speakers are really good. I listen to death mental mostly and some techno/trance and so far it sounds good. It's not blaring but does sound good when volume is up more...keep in mind you are on a bike, not in a car. Phone calls come in and go out clearly. I connect two phones. One for calls and the other for my music etc...don't ask I'm weird lol. The charge seems to be really good though, I haven't been able to test it for longer periods. But with that said, I've only charged it once and that was when I received it...almost a week ago...still full charge. Conclusion:IMO this device packs a punch for the price. I do recommend this device (I'm not the type to recommend stuff) I hope this review helps anyone looking for better way to spend your money so have more money to go buy other stuff for you bike :)RIDE SAFE!

Good first impressions
Review for the FX7 since there's hardly any in here for this unit.Got delivered today so I set it up in my helmet (scorpion evo fx) and paired it to my phone. Setup was super easy. Hardest part was running all the wires in the helmet to get a good fit and be happy with it.Now onto the unit itself. Tried the hard boom mic at first and was unable to get it to work (my wife could not hear me on the phone), swapped it for the soft mic that's included and that one worked perfect. Decent sound quality and volume. The knob controls are counter intuitive in my opinion. If you have the unit mounted on the left side of your helmet, you have to rotate the knob backwards (clockwise) to skip to the next song and hold it backwards to raise the volume. Meaning you rotate it forward (counterclockwise) to go back to the previous song and hold it forward to lower the volume.Speakers are noticably tight up against my ears in my helmet but not uncomfortable, at least not on the short ride I took today. Could just be my helmet itself, or the speakers themselves, not sure which is the issue there.Have not tried the comms yet as I rode by myself. Phone call was great on my end and my wife said no complaints on her end either as I was going 50 mph on my Harley. One click to answer and hang up calls so that's nice. Radio works well and picks up stations pretty good. Controlling everything when you're in radio mode is not very user friendly as far as changing stations/setting favorites/scrolling through presets. Will update later down the road once I have more use and hopefully get to try out the comms with my buddies cardo.

Amazing
Amazing! That should sum it up. Does everything the most expensive Cardo does for a fraction of the price. Communication with passenger, excellent. Listen to radio or music while freely communicating with other riders. Talk on the phone clearly with no sound distortion from wind, motorcycle engine or surrounding traffic. Used this with a half helmet with no distortion at 75 mph. Full Hemet same quality not better or worse. Admittedly my last Bluetooth was 10 years ago so the quality has improved drastically since. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a Bluetooth for a helmet and I did a lot of research.

Very Functional!
The intercom sound is very crisp! Love sharing music with my husband. I was hesitant to purchase this instead of a Carbo, but so far I am very pleased at a fraction of the price. Easy to install and begin using. The instructions are simple and precise.

Easy to use. Connected right up each morning on a month-long motorcycle ride.
Bought a pair of these for a ride across the USA last June. They worked well. I wish the range was further than 1/10 of a mile but they work great when you're within range. Note: all Bluetooth headsets I have ever tried only worked a short distance and this device was no different. They all advertise much longer distance but that is with perfect conditions: on a clear sunny day, flat level surface, with no other vehicles, hills or obstructions. But when do you ever have those conditions at the same time? (hint: never)
