Worked great
Friend bought a black and decker wallpaper steamer and had no way to plug it in as it came with a UK plug. This worked great to switch it to US plug.

Works just fine.
Works just fine. I use it to adapt a Chinese plug to a 120 volt United States receptacle. It charges my phone just fine. Be aware that most phones will not handle this 120 W charger! I have a special phone.
