For the price these really can't be beat. Even comes with extra batteries. Used it to measure my new coilover setup on my car and have used it a few other times in the course of a week since purchase. So far so good, a great value.

Seems well made and accurate and easy to operate

Works in a pinch. My screen started to glitch out after i dropped it a couple of times after 1 year of use. Gonna get a new one.

I've tried several inexpensive plastic calipers. They work for a while, but the electronics seem to give out. Also, they don't have a way to make fine adjustments or to lock the calipers in place. These sturdy, well-made metal calipers check all the boxes. It's easy to switch from metric to English measurements and easy to zero out. The thumbwheel lets you move the calipers in very small increments and there is a locking mechanism on top. The digital read-out is easy to read. It comes in a very sturdy case which protects it as well as having a place for a battery. I did find I needed to zero-out a bit more than I imagined I'd need to, but that's probably because of the precision as this device measures to fractions of fractions of millimeters. While I've not had it long enough to comment on the durability of the electronics, I anticipate it will last me for a long time, if not forever.

Anyone complaining about these WORKING AND ACCURATE $25 calipers is insane, they’re way more accurate than I expected, sure they’re probably not rated for machine coolant but that’s okay since I’m using them for automotive parts.
