Red Devil 3110 Scraper with Contour Handle, 1", Multi

I was working on re painting a classic wooden porch swing, when I had to break down and purchase a tool unlike the scrapers i had accumulated from friends and those I found in toolboxes and such. This thing revolutionized my project. It scrapes EFFORTLESSLY and the knob provides control and pressure for easy and intentional placement. All edges are sharp right out of the package. Arrived 1 day early on prime membership. This thing blows my electric scraper out of the water. I am very happy with this purchase.

I've used a Red Devil scaper just like this one for years now, and recenty lost it, so I was glad to see it available on Amazon. I know the 4-way blades are sharp and stay that way for awhile, so I wanted to stay with Red Devil. It wasn't worth saving a couple bucks to try another lesser known brand. Also, the handle is a perfect length for me - it is long enough to give good leverage pushing the scraper blade down on the work, yet it just fits inside a toolbox I have for painting prep supplies. The part no. of the replacement blade pack is clearly labelled on the scraper, and they are available all over, including Amazon.

This product has saved me HOURS and tons of money i can scrape layers and layers of paint off old antique doors very easily and skip paying 20 bucks a can for stripper to chemically peel the paint off it is so expensive, smelly,messy. This product is a great value and i loved it so much i already ordered a replacement blade pack for this awesome tool. You will not be dissapointed.

I didn’t end up using this item for its original purpose. I used this item to strip bark off of a tree branch to use for a craft and it worked fantastic. I love that it has four different blades that you can rotate through. Really great sturdy handle, and great balance.

Got the 2 1/2. The only thing Is that it won’t peel off evenly. But does the job well by going over again.

This is hands down the best glue scraper I have for making cutting boards. Easy to use, doesn’t shred the wood and easily removes dried glue.

My husband is a painter and says this is a great product.

Definitely a good value scraper

I wanted a good large blade scraper to remove glue squeeze-out. I read the reviews, which are mostly good, but I also read the few that mentioned the blades were not flat for a minority of customers.I thought that maybe the poor reviews were due to a few bad units.I recieved mine yesterday. Unboxing it I could see right away that the four sided blade (the model I selected) was bent. Why? The manufacturer created a cardboard tag (that is used to hang the units in a retail store) that is about .0625 inches thick. They then put a small hole in the bottom of the tag. They then put this between the blade and unit. Finally, they screwed the retaining screw to affix the blade over the tag. The tag is not the same dimension as the blade and hence the blade warped from deformation due to the edges of the blade not laying flat around the tag. I tested the blade flatness on my jointer table. Horribly warped.I wouldn't use this on a workpiece or even for scraping paint! Only a miniscule portion of the blade will make contact and because the blade is not flat, as you scrape the blade will wobble and gouge your workpiece as you become frustrated with its inability to remove wood or squeeze-out.In addition, the one I recieved was fairly dirty and the paper tag was quite ratty leading me to believe this scraper was not treated well in storage or transport to whatever distribution center it came from. I'm sending it back so beware, maybe you will have better luck. It's a gamble.

Used it to scrape old paint off the fence. Worked great at the more weathered paint and struggled a bit with the rest. Biggest complaint was the screw to tighten the blade kept loosening and it felt like I'd strip it if I tightened it any further.

Item work well but problem with three partly item it on sale when l order it l had to order two of item but min in shopping cart so two scraper . They shipping in one packages they ship in two package so two delivered charge so item more money if bought local on line price are high plus you have to wait. I think next time l buy somo

Great tool once modified! Added longer bolt with washer and nut before modifications broke in 10 minutes brass insert in plastic can’t take any stress!
