No buzzing sound, works great!
I agree with other reviewers that the fan is not quiet, it’s a reasonable level for the size. I hate the buzzing sound of a AC unit and this does not make that sound. If you don’t mind the white noise of a fan in the background, you will like this unit. It cools better than any other unit I’ve had. Great price too

Functional and easy to install
Came and was relatively easy to install in a NYC brownstone. We have a window ledge outside so the AC rests on that and we didn’t need to install a rack. The unit also comes with the accordion frame. So far doing a good job at cooling down our medium sized bedroom, remote controller also works. Not super quiet but we don’t mind and it fades into brown noise.

Definitely cools my room, but a little louder than I hoped (video attached)
The media could not be loaded. So this product does do what it's supposed to do and that's cool my room very well. It was relatively easy to install, I put it together with the manual and installed it myself in a few minutes. Took at little while to get used to the settings but I eventually figured it out. It has a high/low fan setting and a high/low cool setting on one knob, as well as a separate knob for how much cooling you want the unit to do (you can choose between 1-7).I've closed my door and windows and set it to high cool and the max cool setting (7), and my room temperature went from 81 degrees to 73 degrees in about 45 minutes (photos attached). On the same settings I think I went from 84 to as low as 66 after probably 2 hours a few days before writing this review. Also, my room is pretty much a square. I believe the walls are all 12 ft long and 8 ft high. Definitely measure your room to make sure you're getting the right size AC for it. This unit says it cools up to 150sq ft, so measure the length of 2 walls and multiply them to get your square footage. Mine are all 12ft long so 12*12 = 144sq ft.Depending on the temperature outside I either keep my 2nd window closed if it's the same temperature or hotter outside or I might open it if it's cooler outside. If it is cooler outside than it is inside (like at night) then you can just turn on the fan, which I believe will push fresh cool air from outside to the inside of your room instead of running the AC's cooling unit. I use my phone to check the outside temperature and then have a cheap battery operated thermometer that sits on my desk inside my room to tell me the inside temperature.I've attached a video so you can see and hear the unit for yourself. Only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because of the noise. It's doesn't make a whiny noise nor does it sound like anything is mechanically wrong or broken, it's just that the fan is louder than I expected, even for the lower setting. I kind of wish it had one more setting where the fan was running at about half it's current lowest setting to maybe cut down on noise a bit more. But it's nice that I can crank it to high cool and the max cool setting and close the door/windows and leave the room for a bit, then when I come back I can turn the fan and settings down for a bit and be nice and cool. Sometimes it gets so much cooler that I even have to throw on a hoodie. One more note: I also run a gaming pc in my room which drastically affects the temperature, so these newer temps with the AC are while my pc is on and running. Without that the AC unit probably can cool a room of a similar size even easier. But again, other than the loudness of the fan it does work very well.

So worth the price!
Received on time and packaged well. A little tricky to install because of our window configuration but it's in, working, fairly quiet and cycling nicely to keep my bedroom at a steady desired temperature. So nice looking.

Quiet, works
Got this because I have two u- shaped Mideas that are incredibly quiet and work well. Despite not being u-shaped, this is also very quiet. Pretty small unit too. So I’m very happy with it.I must say, and this is not unique to this unit or brand, the side fins are pretty worthless. These never function as a covering of the opening without lots of foam around. These might be worse than the best, but I don’t care because none are any good. Can’t believe nobody has come up with a better approach.

Energy saver
I purchased 2 units for two rooms in my home. The cost was reasonable and I was honestly tired of spending 800 a month on using my air conditioner just to cool down two rooms upstairs. I now only run the air conditioner when I want the downstairs cooled down which has quite literally slashed my electric bill in half.Pros:Size , doesn’t stick out much creating an eyesore outside.Cools down the room quicklyNot very loudCons:Very basic and doesn’t auto shut off when hitting a certain temperature.Overall it does exactly what we needed it for.

Making sure it cools down my home . And it is doing that for now .
The media could not be loaded. Delivered today by Amazon. Instructions weren't clear for a specific model, so I went to YouTube and found 'The Fixer 2.' It showed me step by step how to install this specific brand and model. After watching the video, it was a breeze. The sound is a little louder; I set it on high to cool down the room, but I opened the door and it also cooled down parts of the living room where it was 90°F inside in this humid Texas weather. It works well and cools effectively. But I just finished installing it. All's good, keeping my fingers crossed until my AC guy finds the part for my central AC furnace. No, you do not open the AC and pull out the Styrofoam inside, like another review stated here. I'm glad I checked before damaging a brand new product. Thank you, Amazon!
