Gaia has a fine reputation for its products, esp. in the digestive realm. This is a fine alternative to antacids. And it tastes pretty good too!

For me, this is a heartburn relief product that really works! I have used it for 2-3 years. Highly recommend.

I’ve been struggling with LPR/GERD associated throat pain and the lump in the throat feeling for over 15 years. I’ve tried PPIs and other prescription/OTC meds and nothing helps, not to mention they sometimes aggravate my IBS. I’d basically gotten to the point of just living with the pain and discomfort. However, I stumbled onto this product and decided to try it. I tried marshmallow root tea in the past for GERD and noticed no change so I doubted this would do much, but it has honestly been life changing!After the first day I took it (one at bedtime and one first thing in the morning), I noticed immediate relief. The throat pain and lump in the throat sensation was mostly gone! I no longer sit all day in discomfort, thinking about how raw and irritated my throat is. It’s honestly been really amazing! However, I did stop taking it for a bit and symptoms returned. It is a little pricy, but honestly I’ll pay it as long as it continues to help! I can’t say enough good things about it!

I generally trust Gaia and their products. Gaia has never given me a reason not to trust their products. I have been ordering the Gaia Reflux Relief for 7 years. I recently ordered 2 bottles and just tried a tablet from the order. GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The formula has been changed. The tablets used to have a pleasant, mild, earthy, marshmallow taste. I have no idea what they taste like now and what Gaia has done to ruin a great product. I actually think they made my stomach discomfort worse. Of course I ordered two bottles to have on hand. Now I am out $73.86 since there is a no return policy on this item. I am not thrilled about having to trash $73.86 worth of an unpalatable product. So goes life - Bummer :(

This seems to be more of a rescue product. I took them with the expectation of being able to discontinue use of a daily PPI. It did buffer my reflux, but I found myself having to take 2 or three a day and several OTC antacids throughout the day as well to avoid the reflux side effects. I’ve used them roughly 2 weeks hoping better results. Not sure I’ll reorder based on initial results and the risks that go along with uncontrolled reflux.

Love these, when they came with the metal lid, but the more recent I've had with a plastic lid seemed like a slightly different recipe that doesn't seem to work as well. Hoping they keep up the "metal lid" recipe...

First, i dont write alot of reviews but these deserve one!I got these for my mom who's been taking Prilosec (Proton-pump inhibitor) for over 7 years. Those damage your kidneys, liver, & can cause cancer.(For years medical researchers have been raising red flags about the overuse of PPIs. Prilosec (omeprazole) was called “the first compound accepted for use in humans after having induced cancer in its target organ.” Those concerns were dismissed by the drug companies as merely theoretical, but with years of use by the public, it turns out the researchers were right: a combined study published in 2016 of over 80,000 patients showed that the use of proton-pump inhibitors was associated with a significant increase in the risk of gastric cancer)These are an amazing replacement while her stomach heals. I cant recommend them enough. They worked for her from the first time she took them. She's now on her 4th bottle.
