Wrong product, but good product.
What I got is not the delta. I didn't want the red dot bertillium, I wanted the green dot delta. Everything about the bertrillium is good. It's definitely made with high quality, and the red dot is amazingly bright. Fits great using the low profile utg rdm20 mount plate. I'll just keep this bertrillium to avoid the hassle of shipping it back. It's not like I don't like it, I do lol

A Very Good Product
While I have several 9mm hand guns, both for protection and for the hobby of shooting, this is my first 'Red Dot sight'.(1) VALUE VS PRICE = 5. [Cannot do better than what this product provides. There is a big retail price differential between ADE 'Red Dot' products and most of the competition. What I'll call "the Big Five" charge generally between $250 and $500 or more for their products, yet my purchase cost substantially less. Nevertheless, my ADE product compares favorably with its competition in most, if not all, aspects of functionality.](2) EASE OF INSTALLATION = 3 at best. [If you're hoping for a step-by-step description/narration of installation (what to focus on and what to avoid, or avoid doing), you will be disappointed, and perhaps a bit underwhelmed ... as I was. The manufacturer, ADE, should realize that the price-point of their products often attracts first-time users - rather than experienced users. Consequently, it would benefit the company to provide more detailed guidance than what actually now accompanies the product. Carefully consider who buys "The Top Five" and who buys ADE ... and why. I am the type of person who, for example, views an automobile as transportation - a working engine, four wheels, and working brakes. Of course, bells and whistles are nice ... but why spend $50K or more when $25K will make me only a little less pleased? I can then spend the difference on something else that I would like. Similarly, I purchased my guns after considering the overwhelmingly positive reviews of each vs. price. The cost of my guns ranged from $260 to $490. As a first-time buyer, it made no sense to spend as much or more on a red dot sight than on the firearm itself. When I get used to this particular ADE product, perhaps I will then consider 'upgrading'. At one point, I considered returning the product to Amazon ... but did not - and eventually I completed a successful installation. The installation page really assumes that the sparse descriptions are enough. But, if that were true, there would have been no need to provide (as an afterthought) a second page addressing various issues that clearly were brought to the attention of ADE by previous purchasers. So, please ADE, make it a single, cohesive list of step-by-step instructions - not two. Buyers, if you, too, are baffled at some point(s) during installation, do NOT give up. Re-read all steps provided, check the internet (YouTube) for answers to your questions, and if necessary, contact ADE with your question(s). They were very helpful. You'll be glad you did.(3) OVERALL EXPERIENCE = 4. This a very good product. I actually first bought a Vortex Viper for $250, but, before opening it, decided to try ADE. I'm glad I waited and will soon return it to the retail store for a refund.

Clear solid optic
This optic has been mounted on a Bersa TPR9C using a UTG Slim RDM 20 plate. I pressed out the rear sight, installed the plate, and installed the optic with no problems. Directions are well written and easy to follow. The optic was near zero when installed! Sight in went fast. Remember to loosen locking screws before sighting in. My Bersa TPR9C functioned fine with the extra weight of the plate and optic. Ejected brass does not hit the sight. I tested the new set up with 115gr.,124gr.,124gr.+P,138gr.&147gr. ammo. About 200 rounds so far. The Ade rd3-012-G-1 has held zero and works great! This is one of the best buys in pistol mounted optics! I need to buy more ammo.Up date-after 2500 rounds fired still problem free. Very happy. Next up date - round count now 6000-7000, still happy!

Good optic....but
So I like the optic, good dot, adjustable but... One of the screws stripped just putting it in and adjusting it, I didn't even crank on it, the screws are just cheap and soft. Guess I have to drill it out.

Great 6 MOA Green Dot for PCC!
I was researching smaller-sized Green Dot sights and decided to see if ADE had added any new models to their lineup. I already had one that is mounted as an offset sight on my PCC and it has worked great for over two years now. The thing that really sold me on purchasing the RD3-012-G-1 is that it has a 6-MOA dot. I mounted it and sighted it in at the range. Looking forward to seeing how well it performs in my next match.

Not useful
Third time out using it the battery and cover flew off. Could not reassemble it because the threads apparently stripped.

Ade Advanced Optics rd3-012-G-1 6MOA Green Dot Micro Mini Reflex
Item seems ok haven't mounted it yet on a SAR 12 45, BUT the Op manual shipped indicates it is a RED DOT. Thought wrong item shipped???I pulled it out of the box, it was already turned on (for how long?) and I saw the GREEN DOT, which is what I ordered. Maybe the manual could be printed as a "Universal Red or Green Dot Manual?

The green smudge that is projected can hardly be called a "dot".
Product looks good on the outside. Only when it turned it on, were my expectations ruined. The green "dot" can hardly be called a dot. Looks like a splashed green smudge as opposed to a dot. Contacting the company to send me a new one. Will update and change my review depending on what happens.
