Based on my one month of experience with this product, it performs just as stated in the manual provided. I thought I had damaged the unit at one point. Tech support was great. As it turned out all I had to do was disconnect it from all power and leave it for 30 minutes. When I reconnected it to power it worked just as before. I was told to send it back if that didn't fix my problem and they would test and repair it for me. I don't think you can ask for anything better. A good product that the manufacturer actually stands behind. What a novel concept.

My 4th one. We use them for a 48 volt Lithium ion battery and it works fine. Not too expensive. Best entry level

Where could I start perfect product for off-grid this is a 48 volt sine wave inverter 5000 Watts it works perfectly about it use and I cannot complain is working perfect doesn't have any issues he lights up all my cabin refrigerator you name it

I had my doubts about this inverter, as it is a modified sine wave. However, it has been more than adequate for the job!! Make sure that you have plenty of battery, you going to need it to run the air conditioner during the summer. This 48 volt inverter is more than adequate to handle your air conditioner, your washing machine, your water pump, your microwave, your ice maker, and all the things you have in your RV. With a 10000 watt Spike protector, this thing will go for 20 seconds before shutting down, if you overload it.Delivery was fast, installation was so simple! The three wire output gives you the full 5000 watts of continuous operation, well running just about everything you need on your RV.UPDATE: 11-10-2020On the other hand, if it fails within warranty, and you need it replaced, count on 10 to 15 days before they get back to you. If they decide they don't want to replace it, if it works when they receive it, you're going to have to jump through burning hoops.You will have to pay the return shipping, and you will have to pay a shipping tag to get it back to you. Otherwise, in 90 days, they will just dump it.2023-07-23 UPDATE:After 3 years of service, the first unit faulted with an inrecoverable "Overload" error, due to 15-amp (1800-watt) water pump running and 61-amp spike (7320-watt) when the AC turned on. That's a total of 9120 watts, which is a little below the 10,000 peak rating for this inverter.I bought another 8000 inverter, but it was not properly identified, and turned out to be a 12-volt supplied inverter. Amazon support ( in the Phillipines, would not cancel my order, hung onto my funds, made me receive the product, and I immediately returned that product *unopened*. It took almost two weeks to get my money back, and created a hardship for me to get the proper replacement inverter, which ironically showed up the same day as the one Amazon forced on me, even though I ordered the correct one two days after Amazon said the 8000-watt inverter could not be recalled from shipping (they shipped it over 12 hours after I requested it be stopped).The replacement (brand new) PWRINV500048W did the same thing as the original (3-year-old) inverter, after only a week.Aims does NOT warrant these "beginner" units, and does not have a repair path. They are like Bic Lighters, meant to be thrown away when they fail.I am now in a position to move to a different vendor and product that I can trust for my growing needs.If you have a 30-amp RV, and add any other load, this may not be adequate to fill your needs for long.ALWAYS look for the input voltage in the item on Amazon. If you don't see it in the item name or description, or in the specification info, do not buy it.

the first one was DOA, looked like some one had ruined the unit and returned it, with out telling,but it was replaced,the new one worked great,

I have had this over a year now. Leave it mounted on my 48 V electric ATV. Use it for big loads like electric cement mixer and saws with no problems.

I will be returning this unit as soon as a replacement unit arrives.Upon connecting to my 48V off-grid solar power system, it worked very well with almost any heavy or light load, such as power tools, LED lights, etc. However, it did not work with "on demand water pump" used in our four stage water filtering system. Just to be sure, the pump works fine with pure sine wave generators.So, I don't recommend buying so called modified since wave inverter since some critical appliances like water pump do not work with non-pure sine wave generators.
