Very sharp and it gets the job done, great for multiple projects

This is in my opinion one of the best hobby knives you should buy, most other hobby knives on amazon are at least £5 and the premium knives will cost £20+, the blade is pinched in place and will not come out while using this knife, its perfectly sharp and so are the 5 replacement blades, basically exactly what i was looking for. The only downside is that the protective cap on the knife, and the blade storage box are not well built and even cracked on arrival, however the knife itself and blades are perfect.

Brilliant knife for crafting, cutting fine detailed work perfectly, is easy to use and comfortable in the hand, unlike others.

This is great. Used for multiple jobs, blading tops of skirting boards, scraping off paint from wooden flooring, removing glue and other adhesives from beading, getting varnish lumps off radiators. An all round blade for so many jobs saving time on things like sanding and cleaning surfaces. Highly recommend

This is a great set. They are high quality and I am very pleased with the purchase. Impressed with the speedy delivery and rather modest price also.However, I am slightly disappointed with the enclosed fly, which I assume was a free gift from the seller. Unfortunately the fly was deceased upon arrival, and it must have been poor quality as it had already lost several limbs by the time the parcel arrived. I would probably suggest to the seller not to enclose free gifts at all as this set really is fantastic just the way it is, without being smeared in squashed fly.

I have been building and flying my own radio controlled aeroplanes made from balsa wood since the mid 1970s so have used a lot of modelling knives and blades in that time and this Amtech hobby knife is as good as you can get for the price and there is nothing wrong with the quality either, so I have come to the conclusion that the people giving poor feedback for this item have never used a modelling knife before so do not know how to screw it together properly and achieve a tight fit on the blades.

Blades are sharp and handles solid. What lets it down however are the plastic parts. The case was warped when it arrived and cannot close properly, the gripper part of the handle (which is also plastic) snapped after a couple of uses, luckily the blade did not fly into my hand or face etc.
