Overall this lived up to my expectations. It went together quickly and the fit was square. The only negative about it is the back is kind of flimsy. At best it is a piece of 1/16" plywood. It bows and is only for looks and not really what I'd call a back of substance. This piece won't get any hard wear but if it was going to I'd probably have some 14" plywood cut to attach to the back.

The ideal size for our bedroom. Assembly was no real problem. Just took our time. Just have a flat floor big enough to lay out the pieces. The wood is rich but we did notice an odor when we applied latex paint. We think the brand paint (Old Village) seemed to not mix well with the type wood used for construction. Wood it not a pine, more of a foreign wood. Once we repainted with other brand (Benjamin Moore) the smell went away. When done, it was beautiful. would buy again.

When we received this item, the box was opened from shipping. I was worried about that but went ahead with assembling. We noticed the top part that was supposed to have the magnets attached to it, did not have them attached so the doors would not stay closed (that part came off, maybe during shipping?). The entire cupboard looked great, except for that small problem with the magnets on the top. I contacted the manufacture about this and they quickly sent me a new top part. No hassle at all. We assembled the top part right away and it looks perfect!My 14 year old son put this cupboard together with just a little help from an adult at times. My son was able to easily and follow all the directions to assemble this.Prior to buying this cupboard, I looked for months (at many different stores and online) for a good looking cupboard/cabinet/shelves because I needed one that fit a specific sized space. I was so happy to find this. This is very sturdy. This looks even more expensive than it is. Even though this is 13 inches in diameter, I was pleasantly surprised with how much room there actually is inside this cupboard. There is tons of room inside the cupboard. Even though I needed to replace one part, I would highly recommend this to everyone due to the manufacture's efficient response, the sturdiness of this cupboard, the ample space inside, and the high quality of this cupboard.

I absolutely love this cabinet. It was extremely easy to put together and appears to be very sturdy. You definitely pay for what you get and the quality was exceptional!

Doors do not fit. Panels did not stain uniformly. Cracked panels or improperly glued at factory. No quality control. Have bought other items from same vendor and have had great luck. Must have been a Friday Product!!!

If you’re willing to do a little work, this cabinet can be very nice and the finished product is very sturdy. Remember, it’s solid wood - not crummy particle board, not veneer - but 100% solid wood. The wood itself is known by various names like parawood, white teak, rubberwood but the latter is most fitting. It’s a type of rubberwood which is quite dense and better than softer woods like white pine. The downside is that it’s not an easy material to stain and requires patience. Painting is no problem. I’m happy with the finished product and if you tried to buy a similar turnkey cabinet in a furniture store, I’m quite sure you’d get sticker shock. Highly recommend if you’re moderately skillful with woodworking

Except for the drill holes for hinges on one door being drilled 3/16"too low, everything else aligned, and assembly was easy. I will remove the door in question, put wood putty in the existing holes, then redrill for new hinge to make pulls align. Kind of a pain to have to do this. Solid wood cabinet. Light and sturdy. I will concur that it had a strong smell when I first put it together. I put it in a spare room, opened the doors, and cracked open the windows. Then I ran a fan on it for 4-5 days. I left it in the room for a week or more. It doesn't smell anymore. I brushed the inside shelves with two ample coats of teak oil, as I will keep my dishes and glassware in this cabinet and I wanted them to be water resistant. The wood sucked the oil right up. It looks beautiful even when unfinished. It could be sealed and varnished I guess. I plan on painting the cabinet Cadet blue as part of my kitchen remodel color scheme, so I will have to put a few coats of primer I think to reduce the grain showing through my final paint color. This is a very useful cabinet, and is only 12" deep. It adds so much useful cabinet space to my kitchen. I lost a good deal of cabinet space when I opened up a wall from kitchen to dining room. This cabinet makes up for all I lost. It is narrow enough to fit in wide hallway from kitchen to dining room. I am so pleased with this purchase.

This item not only went together quickly, it is beautifully designed. I’ve never had anything go together so well. Great job!
