1950s Fashion in Pictures: Large print book for dementia patients

A FUN "MEMORY LANE" TRIP FOR MY SWEET MOM
Many photos of "day dresses", Capri pants, and other attire that my mom herself wore when I was a toddler... plus ball gowns, swimwear, suits, "sweater-girl" sweaters, shoes, and hats fashionable in the 1950s.The captions copy is pretty basic - factual, but not evocative - and while set in a slightly larger type, it could be a bit larger for ease of reading.Disappointed that a few of the notable historical photos in the book were severely cropped and poorly captioned. (A photo from Jacqueline Kennedy's 1953 wedding referred to her as Jackie Onassis... and the photo shows only the bodice of her gown, and from the side... with a barely-recognizable profile of her face.)Editorial fussing aside, my 89-year-old mom DID enjoy this '50s fashion parade. We've read it together twice now, and I'll pull it out once a month for another run-through.A great way to engage and entertain the senior ladies in your family... or under your care.

Great Fashions in 1950
This book is exceptional for someone who was in fashion in the 1950's. I bought it for my cousin who did work in a dress shop in the 1950's and she loved it. She has macular and has difficulty seeing. This book with it's large print is great and she can read it. She is so excited.

great for a project
The size of some of the pieces were a bit on the smalll side, great for a project, but I purchased for an elderly person and she struggled with some of the contents.

Not amazing
Nice but small and thin. It could have been more generous in words and pictures

Nothing much to say
Why all the blank pages at end of book. Confuses client. Why not add more pics as this is sold as a book when it is only a booklet?
