Bait - Place the bait on the bait station, as far back towards the end of the trap as possible. This will ensure the mouse triggers the trap door to close. For better results, you'd better position the trap against the wall so it can be more fixed when the mouse goes into it and try to run away. Catch - When the mouse enters the trap, its weight and movement will trigger the door to close. There are air holes for ventilation, so you don't need to worry about stifling the mouse. Release - Simply lift the door to set the mouse free. Release outdoors at least 100 feet away from the trapped area. Pay Attention Mice are very alert to new things, so they won't be easily trapped. Please wait patiently until it works. Try to place the mouse trap near walls or corners and keep its back door obstructed while leaving the entry door open. Change the bait frequently to keep it fresh and attractive. Release the mouse from the trap soon, because trapped mouse will send out a distress call to alert other mice. Please use disposable vinyl gloves when cleaning the traps and do enough protections when you release mice to keep your family away from possible virus or other infections. It seems to do the job

All good except for the pest!
The order arrived quickly and reasonably packed and is as described and is easy to use and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, I bought it to deal with a mouse but I was dealing with a growing rat so I am unable to say how well it works as the rat is too big!
