Minna no Nihongo, Book 1 (Japanese Edition) Perfect Paperback – October 6, 2000

Arrived in great condition. Just takes about 2-3 weeks because it comes from Japan. This book is in Kana (not romaji). I think it is very helpful to use Kana book b/c you can understand how words should be pronounced. But you will need to memorize the characters to use it.

I didn't feel comfortable with buying stuff through internet, but I needed this book and this was pretty much the only way to get it, so I gave it a shot. Although the book had been previously used, it looks pretty much new, it's in pretty good shape, and it arrived to my door unscratched. I recommend buying through this seller.

This book is entirely in Japanese. No romanization. This is great as it offers you exposure to reading Japanese and quickens your ability to remember both the hiragana and katakana characters. Do ensure that you purchase the translation as well. You will need the translation as you won't be able to understand this book without that.

This is part of a two book combo needed for a college Japanese class. One is in Japanese the other is translated.

This textbook requires the trained student to not rely on romaji and to be comfortable with hiragana, katakana and kanji!

Not a book for self-study. Only usable if you have a teacher to help you with the vocabulary.

This book is great, but we have to understand that the student must know the hiragana and katakana before starting studying this book, and probably know some basic japanese.

The book arrived in fairly good condition - the penciled-in notes are easy enough to erase wherever needed. I only hoped it would have come with its original cover. All the same, I'm glad to have this book - It's helping me a lot in my continuing studies.
