The product is far better than most 2.5" HDD Enclosures, which at the benefit of low price, does little to avoid possible damage to the Hard Drive during an accidental fall or mishandling.The SATA 3.2 Gen 2 interface does improve the speed performance as compared to the SATA 3.0 interface given in cheaper metal-clad enclosures.Though the size of this Enclosure is larger than common metal-clad enclosures, it is only because of the cushioning layer provided inside, which is definitely worth the extra price for the mechanical protection. In spite of the larger size, the total weight with the HDD inside is not much more than with a metal-clad enclosure.

I bought this for 1250 in june 2022 . Now during the great indian festival its 950rs and its a great deal. Go for it if you need a sata enclosure for your internal ssd/hdd. I previously bought the cheap ssd enclosure from amazon that costed me 250 rs and one from shop for 300rs . both were damaged after first 3-4 use and had stopped working .Adara enclosure is very sturdy and well build . its shock absorbent and the cables provided with it is of very good quality .

Good Product , Easily converted the internal to external harddisk

Two thing we need from enclosures are reliability & consistency. Used it to download 3.8 tb direct on enclosed drive and uploaded to server in the same session connected for about 22 days , not once the download speed 5mbps (my bandwidth is limited to 5) dropped or during upload transfer to NAS it was stable between 100-130 mbpsImportantly it opens with a latch unlike other sliders in market which makes huge difference 1. Easy disk swapping and 2. keeping it open / close in between if you feel the heat

The enclosure is the strongest for the use case. Looks premium but feels slightly less durable.It secures the 2.5" SSD/HDD and two pads are provided in case you need to have a drive of different thickness in it.A USB 3.0 cable is provided of short(8") length which is just good.The transfer speeds of both R&W are upwards of 120MB/s when I used a 2.5" HDD. The performance is as if I used it as an internal HDD.Even though cable versions are available, I highly suggest to go for this since you can also safeguard the internal HDD from dust and debris when in use and when not in use.Unless you want to use it with low powered PC/mobiles(you need a Y-cabled USB to SATA3 converter in that case), this is the perfect choice.

One word Awesome, in every aspect, sturdy, rugged, speedy,protected with rubber coating inside, perfect fitting of ssd or hdd, looks beautiful and premium,rich feel, i am amazed with the quality of the item, speed of operation is preety fast, detects instantly,i have fitted 240gb kingston ssd, and it works like charm,the interface cable is of excellent quality very thick but smaller in size wish to be of some bigger length, other than this product is excellent if you wish to have good quality external hdd casing..... l
