The hedgehog house was for a gift and the recipients love it!! We bought it as it appeared to have the best reviews and we are glad we did. Its beautifully made and sturdy and looks very good quality. The entrance hall is very good and provides extra safety for the hedgehogs. No predators will be getting into it!! We were all very impressed with the quality of the house.The additional package containing bedding, food, bowls and leaflet with useful hedgehog advice gave it an extra special touch and means it can be set up straight away and contains all the necessary things. Great customer service too. Would highley recommend and would buy from riverside woodcraft again.

After seeing hedgehog droppings in our garden, I decided to do some research into hedgehog houses and finally settled on this one. I liked how it had a 'corridor' entrance to deter larger animals, leading into a large sleeping area. It was great that it came with the food accessories and bedding - all I needed to set it up straight away!From the very first night the food was gone by the morning (see photo) and I am very happy to report that today I was over the moon to discover a hedgehog sleeping inside! I had been leaving the food inside to prevent cats getting to it however I guess from now on I will have to leave it outside so as not to disturb our guest!The house is very sturdy and well made (and actually much larger than I expected - obviously I didn't really read the description properly) and I would recommend this to anyone wanting to help out our prickly friends!

Lovely sturdy hedgehog house with neat room allowing easy access for cleaning and replenishing supplies! We had a prickly visitor on the first night of the house being in the garden and they’ve been back most nights since. We were even privileged to witness a courtship ritual near the house last week after hearing some strange noises! No permanent resident yet, but the house is certainly attracting temporary lodgers!The house itself is of good construction and the kit it came with was full of useful hedgehog goodies! Delivery was fast and everything was well packaged and intact. Really happy!

I very rarely leave reviews but Im so pleased with this product I had too. I’ve had a hedgehog coming to my garden for a few weeks and I’d been feeding it and wanted to buy a house it would actually use. This has been in my garden for 4 days and this morning we peeped in and he’s in it!!!It seems very solid and well made, I also brought the porch that attaches on the side for putting food under. It comes beautifully packed with the bedding hay protecting all the bowls and things. Over all Im really delighted.

We found an injured hedgehog in our garden. After a couple of vet visits over winter to bring him back to full health we have now released him back into the garden. We purchased the hedgehog house and placed it in a quiet corner of our garden and the hedgehog has instantly made its home in it. The hedgehog house is very well made and comes with everything you need. Very impressed with the quality of construction and consideration taken with all the extras. Well recommended.

I already had a hedgehog house from a previous company for which I paid more for, I wish I had purchased this one first. It is far superior in every way.

Such a great product. Really well built with a nice waterproof roof. Mine came with some extra bits (hay, bowls, food) which was very handy. Would happily recommend this.

Absolutely outstanding product! Very well constructed using recycled material. Delivery was quick, came with everything to get set up quickly and packaging was decent. Hedgehog booklet was very informative. Worth every penny and it's clear that the manufacturer has crafted an exceptional product with the animal needs at heart. Also the product pictures don't do it justice as it's much larger then it appears!Thank you very much
