PrimeTime Buys Dell Latitude E5450 14in Laptop,
Decided to retire. I needed to replace my work laptop a Dell Latitude E5450 14in with the latest version of Windows 10 Pro. Have had the same laptop for eight years and the company would update the OS system but the laptop remained the same. I thought why not replace it with the same brand and model since I have had such long lasting good luck with the companies laptop. So I ordered the same brand and model. A week later I had it at my door step. At first I was pretty skeptical Opened up the box and WOW I thought pretty impressive. Thought it was going to be used and tattered but looks brand new. Opened it up and went thru the steps to get the system up and running. Darn it, it gets stuck at Windows updates. couldn't get the system to boot. I called Primetime Buys support and the young lady was so helpful but still couldn't get it to boot up. At this point I was getting very disappointed. Had to get the scan disk so I could reinstall windows. Two days later it was at my door. Man I was worried but it worked and I am up and running. Great laptop, Great support, and Quick Service. I expect to have this laptop for the next eight years. Very happy with my new laptop. Thanks Primetime Buys.

Renewed laptop works as expected, no defects in the screen and very clean.
This unit is replacing an obsolete laptop I have had for about 7 years, the I5 processor is not the fastest but it does what I needed it to do. It came with a 250 GB SSD and 8 GB of memory, it takes only a few seconds to boot Windows 10, which came pre-installed. For the price paid, it is a great machine. The battery life was acceptable for a used laptop, the screen resolution is not great but its adequate for my needs, and I can always use 2 external displays if the need arises (it has a VGA and an HDMI port), it also has USB 3.0 for using fast memory sticks or external hard drives, this is good since the SSD it comes with is only 250 GB. It is easy to upgrade the memory and the hard drive, only 6 screws and the bottom cover comes off giving you access to both. One thing to note is that this laptop has an integrated display driver, it uses part of the RAM for the graphics, if you need a fast graphics processor, this is not the laptop for you, if your work does not involve graphics processing, then I highly recommend this unit.

Sorry I bought this
Won't upgrade to Windows 11. My storage disk is stuck in the side of it. Won't read it or come back out. I'm really sorry I bought this pc.

Great specs for the price. Needed some troubleshooting.
This had the specs I wanted in a cheap laptop: 256GB SSD, 8GB memory, and Windows 10 Pro. It came in a box with some industrial-strength bubble wrap. The delivery person could've thrown it on the porch from 20 yards out like a frisbee and it wouldn't have damaged the computer. Kudos to the seller for that. It looks clean and new on the whole. If I hold it up to the light just right I can discern the tiniest bit of wear on the space bar. Otherwise it looks new. There were some quirks in setting it up the way I wanted. I needed to google a few troubleshooting questions. First, it was running Windows 10 Pro 1703. Windows Update would not download updates, so I had to run Windows Update Troubleshooter and then do a clean boot. After that, Windows Update was fine. I skipped all the version-1703 updates and went directly to the version 1809 download site to save time. Second, I wanted to encrypt the drive using BitLocker. An initial hardware search with the TPM Management Tool (press Windows+R and then type tpm.msc into the dialog window) showed that there was no TPM. Hmm. Then I checked to see if the TPM had been disabled. (Press F2 while booting the machine up - when the "Dell" symbol appears - to enter into the UEFI settings screen. Search the menu for something about "TPM Support" or something like that.) The Trusted Platform Module was there. It had just been disabled. After it was enabled I had no problem setting up BitLocker. Now I have a great little PC for MS Office applications and online work for a great price.

TRUST AMAZON RENEWED PRODUCTS/DELL LAPTOP
I'm not a computer wizard and so won't bore you with attempts to sound like one. Here's what I know. I write extensively and depend on my computer. If it doesn't work,I don't work.I purchased this computer in September, and it is still running as though I just took it outof the box...even though I tend to overload it with photo's, saved documents, etc.I am so glad I chose this particular computer. Have always liked Dell, like it, even more, when purchased throughAmazon, with their 90-day warranty plan, and extended coverage available.Highly recommend buying factory re-furbished computer or other similar devices through Amazon as opposed to eBay, or other competitors.

"Refurbishment" came with a few unexpected features
You know how normally, when you buy a new laptop, you're taken through all the steps of setting up by Cortana? I didn't have that. Instead, a user profile had ALREADY been made, and several programs based on the refurbisher's personal preferences had already been installed. I had to remove several unfamiliar things, had to mangle around for ten minutes just trying to find how to rename the User, and had to go through another process to figure out how to remove some desktop icons (i.e. the User folder) that the refurbisher placed to be helpful (but only took up desktop space). It runs decently but I would have preferred to start from scratch.

Great deal from PrimeTimeBuys
I bought from PrimeTimeBuys because of their good ratings and recent history. I was not disappointed. The Dell E5450 arrived in nearly pristine condition and well packaged. I charged the machine and had no problems booting up and activating Windows 10. I then shut it down, rebooted and ran diagnostics (Press F12 when the Dell logo appears). After all diagnostics were performed everything passed. The battery was rated at 87 percent health which I thought was great for a refurbished computer. That translates into approximately 4 hours of U tubing and web surfing. Mine came with a back-lit keyboard.
