Bought it for my granddaughter, kept it for myself!
I chose this anxiety bookshelf over all the others because it had the latch on the side. I wanted to be able to stand it up to put the books in. Buying more for my daughter, granddaughter, aunt, cousins, besties.

Love it!!!
I have small hands and I think it's a perfect fit for my hands. I thought the quality was great for what I paid. I love the dark color of the wood as well. Perfect.

Perfect for book nooks and dollhouses too
I had never heard of an anxiety bookshelf so really don’t understand the concept of one. The reason why I ordered this small bookcase with books was because I want to use them for book nooks and other miniature scenes. I have put these little books together for a couple of book nooks in the past and, depending on my mood at the moment, found the task time consuming to meditative. So, I completely appreciate that someone has done all the hard work of putting these little books together and I can just use them in my scenes. This set arrived with the bookshelf and all the books in a separate bag. I glanced at the titles and saw modern popular titles to classics, fantasy to children’s books. I did see at least one duplicate in the set I received but that’s not a problem to me. The small bookshelf reminds me of something that I would find at a craft store. It is a very lightweight wood with a plastic window and metal latch. The door closes pretty flush with the back and the latch works fine. The small books fit nicely on the shelves and there are more books in this set than will fit in the bookshelf. Whether you use this as it is advertised, as an anxiety bookshelf, or to fill out a dollhouse or book nook this is a nice set and I don’t think the price is too bad for the sixty books and shelf that you get.My Amazon rating system-Five stars-Great item. May have a minor flaw that does not detract from appearance or function.Four stars-Great item. Flaw or problem more noticeable. Or, price may be high for what it is.Three stars-Good item. Has a flaw/problem that requires more work than should be invested in a product. Two stars-May be a good item with work. Or, doesn’t work for me but may for someone else. One star-Nope. Doesn’t work for me and probably won’t for anyone else.

Time Consuming Fun
This is so much fun to play with. I enjoy organizing and reorganizing everything. They put duplicates in and some of the books that were with a series were missing but really this is so much fun to spend time on. The sets come with a lot of books that are my favorites and even have newer books.

SUPER Cute But Poorly Made
Okay first of all, the books are SO FREAKING CUTE. They have spines, a back, and a cover, and they're based on actual books. I was so enamored with them that I completely forgot about the shelf for a good while. The book selection however is... a choice. While some books are amazing, there's a lot from a series I've never heard of, and then there's random books from series i.e. there's only the second Hunger Games book, two of the Inheritance Games books, Two of the Twilight books, and books 4, (I think?) 7, 11, and 13 of A Series of Unfortunate Events. The Harry Potter books are books 5, 7, and the cursed one that people don't even consider part of the series AND book 5 is the U.S. edition cover while book 7 is a UK edition!I digress. The point is, the book choices are definitely a choice and I wish the person who chose the books maybe had some consistency or had looked at top book lists or something. Am I thinking too much about this? Absolutely. Did I take off stars for this... maybe like a half but if this was my only problem I would have given this four, maybe still five stars (worst case scenario I buy mini books from elsewhere!).The shelf! It's very poorly made. It looks and feels unfinished. There's sawdust on the glass pane that won't come off, the wood from the shelf isn't smooth but feels rough and like it could give you a splinter, and it doesn't look like what I would have hoped for at all.The idea for this is great, I was excited to play around with this and then use it as decor for my bookshelves but the execution wasn't as great sadly.
