Great new design!
This one is fantastic!! It holds the bully sticks so much better than the old version. I got the small (i believe) and itâs perfect for both my large and small dog for use with the 6â sticks. if using the 12â sticks, i use the large one. They definitely donât chip as fast as the old one, the chewing puts more indents than cracks now. itâs fantastic!!

Good quality
Great product. Need some good strength to crank it enough to prevent the bones from slipping out. It can be pretty loud while they use it, not ideal if you have downstairs neighbors. It must taste good also because the dog love to chew on the holder lol

Perfect for aggressive chewers
The media could not be loaded. My little one loves to chew on bully sticks but I canât trust her to not potentially choke on small remnants. This puts my mind at ease because once itâs down to the nub itâs secure inside the holder and she canât swallow it. Thanks to this holder I can keep her occupied while brushing her. She would never sit still otherwise. These are a lifesaver in more ways than one. Am including a video of how well this works. If it looks weird that Iâm brushing with one hand without holding the fur at the base itâs because my other hand is holding the camera. Itâs just to give you a basic idea.

Great idea but needs improvement
This could be close to a 5. However...The clamp doesn't go down and tighten far enough. Many Bully sticks would not clamp down as they were too skinny for the clamp. Others that did clamp, well my 1yr old dog was able to get them to slide out. Obviously he can pull stuff harder than the little plastic clamp can hold on to. The clamp just doesn't bite well. The idea is good but the functionality from a engineers perspective leaves a bit to be desired.

Best product ever!
This thing is the best! I have a labradoodle -- cute as a button but has serious resource-guarding issues. Getting a bully stick away from him while he was chewing was next to impossible. I'd used every trick I'd learned from our trainer, which sometimes worked, but not always. He often refused to relinquish it, growling and snapping at me as I approached. Honestly, it was really frightening! Equally frightening, though, was the prospect of him choking -- which he came close to doing once! But I know that chewing is fun and beneficial for pups! So I gave this product a try and I have to say -- it is terrific!! I use a 12-inch bully stick, clamp this on very tightly about 4/5 of the way down, and he is able to chew on it safely for a good stretch and then just walk away. Awesome!! This has really been a game changer. He's such a tired and happy pup afterwards. Highly recommend!!

Poorly designed
I am no longer going to use this for my bully sticks. Iâve had to fish far too many bully nubs out of my dogs throat everytime I used it.I wish the screw was longer and wish the surface within had some traction to prevent yanking a bully stick out.The photo shows what it looks like screwed tight. There is about a quarter inch of clearance. It may seem like enough space but please remember that the bully sticks get slobbery after a certain point and if you have a persistent enough dog, they WILL pull it out. It is all smooth surfaces in there. Please note that after so many failed bully-holding attempts. Iâve tried drilling a divot into the bully stick, It didnât make a difference unfortunately.I use bully sticks from Costco or Petco. It feels like the goal is to have us purchase their branded thicker bully sticks (boo, they are expensive!!).This is what my holder looks like after a week of use, I have 2 seven month old Pitbull lab puppies. Iâm okay with it looking worn since it means that they are less likely to chip a tooth.I am bummed because I bought two thinking I was going to be able to use them as both bully and yak holders (spolier: the medium does not hold a large yak)

Good concept, poor execution, terrible Amazon return experience.
I had the previous model for a while, and it was a little better than this one because it was smaller and it seemed to fit more narrow bones. We usually use the 12 inch long ones because our dogs go through them too fast and they cannot always have the last bit left anyways. And so sometimes they are a little thicker and some are skinnier. Since my dogs are golden and over 55 pounds we got the large size, but it still seems to only fit a small amount of the thicker size bully bones. I donât know if the diameter is smaller with the lower weight recommendations you go. So that would be great to know because I wouldâve gotten a smaller one regardless of my dog weight if it holds a larger range of size. And maybe itâs just me and I not finding the right bully bones? I have yet to see ones that are thick enough to support this device. So Iâm not very happy that I paid so much money for two of them when they hardly fit. Good concept though and liked the previous, smaller model better. As you can see in the photo, my dog has almost already pulled out of the device.Update-I tried to refund the order, but Amazon sent me a replacement. So I sent one back on Amazon will not refund me. They just keep trying to send a replacement. Obviously an Amazon problem so I didnât dock stars due to this. Just frustrating that I was now charged $140 for 4 holders when I didnât want any of them in the first place because they were terrible.

Best purchase!
After reading the reviews I decided to make this purchase. I kept having to stick my finger down my dogâs mouth scared that he was going to swallow the last small piece and choke. So I looked up what I could do and this product came up. I didnât want a large product since my dog is about 15/16 pounds but I wanted one big enough to hold his bully treats. I ended up ordering the xs so he could carry it around, but sometimes I can barely fit his treats inside. So if I could have had the size of the xs with the hole of maybe the small that would have been perfect. I put a photo of the xs next to a measuring tape that way you guys can see if the size and hole is big enough for your treats. The product is in the closed position so it doesnât get any tighter. But it does fit really slim raw hides. My dog is not a chewer so I canât give you a review about how durable the actual product is as a chew toy. Hope this helps!!!
