Amazing device, easy to use. Found fault quickly
I got an engine fault. Neighbour, who’s have my old reader for over 5 years, couldn’t find it, so I got this cheap, but effective, Bluetooth reader. You have a choice of apps to use and connect it too. I chose car scanner and it works really well with this reader.Found the fault quickly, along with scanning everything else in the free version.Replacement part bought from Amazon and installed the next day.Fault fixed. Saved a ton of money.Great decide.

Great OBD2 Reader. Works with both my Cars
I wanted to get this to monitor the various sensors in my project car, a Mazda RX-8, using Torque on Android. This little thing just plugs into the OBD2 port, and then you go to your Bluetooth and select it. There's a pin that stumped me at first, but upon referencing the manual, I discovered it was just 1234.The product is great, well made for the price, and works with my phone perfectly. I have successfully used this reader in both my RX-8 and my CT200h, both of which it is plug and play, working and reading the sensors great. My only gripe is due to the OBD2 port always being live with 12V from the battery, regardless of ignition status, I need to unplug it every time I stop the car to prevent it from draining the battery. Not the product's fault, as this is the nature of (at least my 2) cars. However, an on-off switch might have been a welcome addition.Overall, I can confirm it works great with Torque on Android and with my RX-8 and CT200h. A product like this is pretty much a must-have, if you're into cars, as it lets you read (accurate) data from all the various sensors on your car's CAN bus.

Reliable Performance at a Budget-Friendly Price
The OBD2 reader delivers as promised, offering dependable performance and great value for money. Positively, this reader functions precisely as expected, providing accurate diagnostics for vehicle issues without breaking the bank. Its affordability makes it an attractive option for DIY car enthusiasts and professionals alike. However, some users may find the build quality to be somewhat lacking, with the device feeling a bit cheap. While this is to be expected given the low price point, it may not affect the reader's functionality or performance. Despite its inexpensive construction, the reader proves to be a reliable tool for diagnosing vehicle problems efficiently. In conclusion, the OBD2 reader offers reliable performance and excellent value, making it a worthwhile investment for those in need of an affordable diagnostic tool. While it may not boast premium build quality, its functionality and affordability more than compensate for any perceived shortcomings.

OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner (Ricokey store) Do not buy this! You'll waste your time, nerves and money.
The media could not be loaded. What a …; literally. ZERO STAR.What a waste of time to believe and put trust in this seller.I have a Vgate bluetooth scan that I bought many many years ago. It does work perfectly even today, on 3 (three different cars, different makes, germans..) cars and I am trying my best, I anm willing to pay up to 50 british pounds to find similar interface..But I have NO CHANCE to find another OBD interface of the same quality made years ago.(The amount of crap, faulty and misleading.. in description that is sold online from CHINA.. is of monumental size, literally. We are cover low quality products, in their.. it is scary, worrying..I tried (and I will keep trying..) 5 interfaces from amazon, ebay, aliexpress, (yeah I know...) but none were as bad as this one from this seller! This one I bought from Amazon is the worst! ..It shows nothing, absolutely nothing on the communication side....I am using a reliable software called ELM Scan Adaptor, that basically read and shows the speed and specs of any OBD interface. (SELLER< DON'T WORRY PICTURES WIT GREEN LINES AND PUPLE IS NOT YOURS.. NOO, can't be..) ..If there are erros of communication between within the bluetooth signal and phone those are shown as result. But this one, It cannot connect show anything. There are attachment for others to try, ..ask sellers to send test result of communication using this app: ELM Scan Adaptor.Yourinterface? It only can ..initiate a connection using BMWhat or Carly as it is known, but only half of the ..so called connection, dotted line is shown. After that there are 2 or maybe 3 leds blinking... and that’s it! Nothing else. This is ridiculous and dissapointed. Ther eis no link to show any instruction using the bar code that is on the box. It is asking for dedicated scanner software from googleplay. Really?? I have one that scans and shows 99.99 of the bar codes.Of course I am goning to want my money back and send this rubbish away. I am sorry, ZERO STAR.So dissapointed I do not want neither a replacement..GOD please keep me away of these sellers..Buyers ask sellers for tests with ELM Scan Adaptor to save your time and patience. And the result should show:Adapter info ELM327 v1.5Ping: 44ms (satisfactory)Identified as ELM327 v 1.4 cloneCompatibility SatisfactoryStatus: errors 0Then you won't have nasty/naughty surprinses..

Not compatible with iPhone
They show an image for iOS but on the product when arrived it says specifically that doesn’t supports iOS. If you don’t have an Android phone, forget it. On Android, worked fine.

OBD2 Bluetooth scanner drivers view point
I got this after seeing adverts for well known recovery company suggesting you hire one from them. I wanted to see what I would tell me. It worked both on my Mokka and my daughter's Mini. Paired relatively easily, had to try a couple of times possibly because of other pairings. It shows information that would benefit a DIY service person. I am not qualified to compare it to more expensive "Professional" units. I have not looked at anything where you can alter states as I would leave that to my own independent mechanic.
