A few months ago I started a new job that allowed me to work from home. The original little desk I had that was only used for an hour or so a week just wasn’t cutting it anymore. Especially since I needed and eventually bought dual monitors to work. My old desk had one little drawer, and with the monitors and my laptop on top of the desk, there wasn’t any room to function. I couldn’t comfortably fit a notepad on the desk and use my computer. I needed a desk that was bigger, but not too big as I had a sliding glass door on one side and a coat closet on the other. I also desperately needed more storage for office supplies and books.Overall, I love this desk. It’s pretty solid and fits my (2) 21” monitors with some room to spare. I was able to assemble it by myself, and all the parts arrived without any damage. I was reading other reviews, and saw some people had problems with the desk arriving damaged. Well, according to the labels on the box, the desk is manufactured somewhere (possibly in California), then goes from one city to another city in California, then it gets sent to Amazon in Kentucky, where it is stored until it’s sent to the customer. At a minimum, we are talking about it being shipped three times for it to get to the end user. So I’m not surprised that some may have a little damage. It’d logistically make more sense for these to be kept in the Las Vegas Amazon distribution center, but I digress.The workspace is great, the shelves are nice, I like that there is a floor shelf where I’ve put my printer. The reason for 4 stars is that the drawers aren’t on any type of track, so it’s like having a storage box in a cubby. Also, the feet are made of plastic. I’d have expected metal for the price of this desk. I ended up putting felt pads on the feet to avoid scraping the floor. Also, I was sent two of the same piece , so I was missing a part to assemble the desk. When I reviewed the drawings though, I found that the piece I was missing was nearly identical to the extra piece I had, and I was able to successfully substitute it without any compromise to the design or durability of the desk.I like the colors, and would definitely say it’s closer to an oak versus a walnut color, but it blends really nicely with my decor.My conclusion: it’s a little pricy for what you get, but I don’t regret buying this desk at all.

TL;DR:horrible craftsmanship, horrible experience to put together, included screwdriver is for antsbetter off getting something from any store that sells furniture for this priceI've never had such a hassle of putting something together. Loosen, tighten, loosen, tighten. This company doesn't know if they want you to be gentle or screw things in with the strength of Thanos. Shipped super quick but the box was highly damaged when received and pieces had scratches and chips. Not sure if assembly is possible with the provided screwdriver. While assembling, the only thing that lined up easily and correctly at all were the drawers and even that wasn't flush. Pieces were mislabeled as mentioned in other reviews, and some of the pieces weren't labeled at all. It looked as though it wasn't quality checked at all on the way out of the factory and the craftsmanship looks like something that was manufactured, packaged and shipped out in maybe 30 minutes tops. Once put together it doesn't look THAT bad, but there's still things that are notably misaligned due to poor cuts and poorly pre-drilled holes. Overall you're probably better getting something from Wal-mart, IKEA or any furniture store for the price. I wouldn't recommend this even to my worst enemies.

Man I was so excited for this and weight of it. It stopped right when I opened the box.First there was a mechancis mat and screwdriver that were both muddy ???I started taking pictures and then just stopped, there was so much. Bent metal frame, missing screws and then waayyy extra of another. The bottom piece screws were to short and would not grab anything.For 399 I have gotten way better at wayfair. I can not even return it because it wont go back in the box.

Took me maybe 4 hours to do this alone? A few parts would have been easier if i had someone holding a part up while i screw it in but i did get it done anyhow. Very sturdy. I have had it for about two months and absolutely love itUpdate: five months later and still as strong and I’ve moved it from different spots in the room without and issue. Not too heavy for one person to move if you need to rearrange a room. I love it

My package came absolutely destroyed. I do know a little bit about materials so I should inform all that this company is based in Asia and has chosen to you a for a recycled cardboard to send this super heavy desk, with mean that any level of humidity with weaken the form and being in a truck, the wood boards break through the box, I wish I had taken a before picture but I was moving and didn't. In the end, only the larger pieces of wood have messed up corners, but I don't mind it.Don't buy this if you aren't well versed in how to put things together. I have spent a long time in the furniture assembly business so I know to check every piece with their described dimensions because most of the pieces were labeled incorrectly or it looked like I had multiple of the same piece, but if you check the instruction for the dimensions of each piece to use, you can figure it out. Assembly for less than 2 hours with a good drill and not their weird tiny screwdriver.Not you the faint of heart or easily frustrated, but I enjoy it.

My son really love to have this as a bday present. It’s not easy to assemble but with the help of his dad here it is.We didn’t have a problem assembling this. Thanks for the fast shipment. My son is thanking me so I thank u back.

Overall, very pleased with the purchase. The quality is good, and it looks nice in the room.Be sure to take extra care in assembly, the instructions are pretty basic. (I only got turned around once or twice.)They could stand to use a more sturdy box to ship it in (it's rather heavy). Though the box itself was in bad shape on arrival, the desk itself was just fine.Allen key and screwdriver included, no other tools are necessary.
