Easy to put together with a minimal of tools. Regulator for the propane tank is a little sensitive. Just a slow quarter turn is all you need. Seasoning to cooking surface is easy. It performs like a restaurant grade cook top.

I believe I’m going to love this griddle. I own a hunting cabin, deep in the Tennessee hills. I ordered the griddle and was dismayed to arrive at the cabin to put it together, season it and cook a meal. But,when I pulled up to the cabin, the box was sitting upside down,w the edges crumpled, as if it had been tossed out of a truck and rolled to a stop. Indeed, it was about 8’ from the edge of the driveway. The box is heavy. I have no idea how heavy, but way too heavy for me to lift. There were also two gaping holes in the box. Upon opening the box, I found thegriddle was extremely well packaged. I good faith I hoped the griddle was undamaged. It was very easy to assemble. Brooks tone has done a majestic job in producing and packaging another quality product. No dents or bent parts. Once assembled, it did light up, but the heat wouldn’t get high enough to cook the way it’s supposed to. For example, Smash burgers should cook quickly. I could cook them slowly, but the heat just didn’t elevate as it should. Amazon was very good. They’ve sent another griddle. I can use the box the new one came in to return the one that appears to be tossed it of the truck. Unfortunately, I will have to carefully dissect the new grill, because there is an over abundance of packing tape on it. I’m not sure it’s possible to save all the styrofoam pieces and pack it as tightly in the box as the factory did. I do believe the value for the money is exceptional. Cleaning is easy w the grease trap that is built in. The service Amazon supplies is superior, their contracted shipping services, occasionally notwithstanding.

The entire underside, sides and lip of the inside of the griddle surface was spotted with rust. Once assembling everything, I got a good look at the rust that was all around it and then when I go to put the handle on the grill, the cover is bent where the handle is. I should’ve known that looking at the condition of the box when it was delivered it wouldn’t be worth the money I paid for it. It looked like an elephant had played kickball with the box.

This is by far is a better quality grill than I have bought previously and the assembly instructions are far superior. This griddle is the 36", and the cooking and clean up is amazingly easy. 4 zone cooking. This is a grill that can be used year around. I am now wishing I bought the Blackstone with the air frier. With this quality product, I won't need to replace for alot longer than I currently do, due to cheap thin metals parts and components. Glad I bought!!!

I was given to 36 inch grill for Christmas and went to season it according to Blackstone video and the process turning to be a nightmare. Do these guys even know what they’re doing? I put the thin coating of avocado oil on the grill and they want you to leave it on high heat during the whole process. Well, I had nothing but paper towels bursting in the flames, I suggest you go on YouTube and find somebody who knows what they’re doing when you season your grill for the first time instead of leaving the heat on for the whole during the whole process there’s a video that has you put the thin coat of oil on turn the heat on high let it burn off and then let it cool off before you reapply the oil 4 to 5 times if the barbecue worked just as good. This is nothing but a glorified cast-iron skillet.
