Great starter camera for content creation!I recently got this camera to experiment with video content for YouTube and I’m impressed with how much it offers for the price. I don't know the correct term for it, but if you are moving around? The recording glitches the picture, like a terible time lapse, "stitching", zi think is the word. I tried different EV and ISO settings, and they did nothing for the issue. The zoom above1080p is just not good, 2, 4, or 8k. It can be used for a webcam, or tripod filming. The picture, when it is still, is pretty good. Audio is sketchy at best. The night vision and "on board" light work as intended. I was looking for a camera with low light and zoom capabilities, as I have 3 other name brands, and only 1 zooms, but it is a DSLR. I was rooting for this one, but cannot recommend, based on any "sudden movement", no matter how smooth and slow, side to side, the video stitches or whatever.

For the money, this is really a good camera. As stated, it does not have optical zoom, that is, with lenses. I use it for filming model aircraft in action, and while it is far from perfect, it does perform well.I only have one issue with it, and that is the display. In bright light, and on a cloudy but sunny day, it is hard to find airplanes on the viewfinder. Some sort of removable glare shield would help tremendously.

I got this camera to document my travels. It is very easy to use and the video quality is great. I like to use this camera, versus having to use my phone for everything under the sun. It is compact enough that you can take it with you anywhere. Great!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This video camera had the features that I wanted but was only apprehensive due to its low price. I bought it specifically for my wife’s 90 year old mother and her siblings (all over 80) weeklong visit to our house in Florida.I had planned to take a couple of weeks in advance to get used to it but never got the chance. So I leaned on the fly.It’s pretty easy. I have no complaints about any aspect of it except it takes a couple of seconds to boot up once you open the viewing screen and another second or two for it to cycle the SD card. After that, you’re good to go.
