I haven't tested them extensively yet. With Valentine's Day right around the corner, I wanted to get something "on paper."My Wife and I love these kind of lights. We also have some bigger ones as well, but for just a little atmosphere while watching TV, the smaller size like this is better. Problem is, they use a coin-cell that typically costs as much as the whole thing. These are rechargeable, so you can use them every night (at our age, "watching TV" means watching TV, not a euphemism) and put them on the charging stand during the day.But wait, there's more! as they say in the commercials. These have a remote and can do tricks like turn on at a preset time and run for a preset length of time. Try that with a flame based candle!Off topic, but relevant in a weird way, back in the day, keyboard players that wanted a piano that they could take with them to gigs had instruments like the Fender Rhodes* or Wurlitzer electric pianos. While they didn't sound like an acoustic piano, they performed the function and became established sounds in their own right. Later, when digital synthesizers became practical, they included the sound of the imitations that didn't sound like the original imitations. Fast forward a few years and processing power and falling memory prices have allowed for electronic pianos that sound pretty darn good. They typically include both the original imitations and the imitations of the imitation, (and since they're playing recordings, these do sound like the originals) because all of the involved sounds have become established sounds. So while candles like this wouldn't fool a 6 year old into believing that there's a real flame, they've become decor in their own right. In the future, when candles this size use some sort of holographic projection to make them look like real wax/wick/fire candles, they may have a mode that makes them look like this! 😏A little on the pricey side compared to what you can get at the local $1.25 store, but being rechargeable and the tricks that they can do makes them a good long-term value.* The Rhodes piano was originally invented in 1946 for use in VA hospitals to give lessons as part of their therapy. It was much later that it was released as a commercial instrument. There were rumors of "Pre-CBS" Fender Rhodes pianos, but they didn't actually go into production until after Fender was acquired by CBS.

Our kitchen has an open soffit area over our cabinets. We have added decorative plants, plates and roosters (I collect them!) on the lower cabinets. We have one taller pantry cabinet decorated with olive oils and such that is dimly lit, due to less natural light accessing it. I wanted to add some accent lighting for the evenings but didn't want to mess with unsightly cords.I saw these Wone Nice Rechargeable Tea Light Candles and was immediately drawn to them because of the addition of the frosted candle holders which disguise the actual light. They arrive with a charging station that fully charged the lights in less than the stated time. I set them on a 4-hour timer, and the charged lights lasted almost 3 weeks--actually 20 days! The addition of the lights on our tall pantry creates a warm and inviting vignette.The price is a bit higher than I would normally spend on a product like this, but if they hold up to charging over an extended period of time, the cost saved in batteries will make them well worth the small "splurge!"

What a wonderful idea -- RECHARGEABLE Votive Candles! I have bought those individual little battery-operated tea light candles in the past and, while those are nice, too, these are much better because you can recharge the batteries instead of purchasing those tiny button batteries.While the product description calls these "tealight" candles, I would consider them more "votive" candles as they are about the same size as a votive candles.These arrived partially charged, so I was able to test them all straight out of the box and they all worked! I then turned the switch on the bottom of each candle to the "Off" position and fully recharged them in the rechargeable base, which takes six hours or less. When you first plug them in the light on the charging base turns RED indicating that they are charging. When finished charging, the light turns GREEN.Each candle also comes with a frosted plastic holder, which is just okay. Nothing special. I don't plan to use these plastic holders ever, but I decided to keep a few to use for art/science projects. I plan to use these rechargeable candles inside of existing votive holders which I already own or inside of Jack-O-Lanterns and other decorations around the holidays.The candles, themselves are GREAT! They flicker like real candles! They also come with a remote control that allows you to adjust brightness, put them on a timer, etc.If you put these on your dinner table and turn them "On" at 5:00 PM, for example, then select either 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours on the remote, the candles will turn "Off" after that many hours. Then, it will turn "On" automatically every day at 5:00 PM and turn "Off" again after the set number of hours you selected, which is pretty awesome -- you can have candlelight every night!I left one fully charged votive candle "On" as a test. It has been "On" for 100 hours straight and it is still going strong! I'm not sure exactly how long they will last before needing to be recharged, but it's definitely more than 100 hours!I definitely recommend these rechargeable candles! It's a safe and simple way to experience the ambiance you would get from real candles, but without all of the hassle and danger.
