Super Great CD!
I have read other reviews on these Super Hits Of The 70's Have a Nice Day! series! And to let you know for original quality in sound and original band members it's all there! There are several reviews out stating that these cds are not original and some of the lyrics have been taking out is totally taken out of context? I have a good selection of 45's from Rhino records and listened to them against the series and found there has been no lyrics taken and all band members are there as well. It took me about eight months to do this comparison and it's all there! I have the complete set of the Super hits Of The 70's! Have a Nice Day! So, those of you that want buy the set of 25, you can do so without any regrets or sorrow! I was born in the 50's and have fond affection for the 50's - 60's - 70's - 80's and some for the 90's music of all kinds and to know what I'm writing here is just! Have a Nice Day!

Reminds me of a simpler time in life!
I purchase the entire set of Super Hilts of the '70's. Anyone who grew up during the 1970's like I did will love this collection. So of the songs are silly, some will break your heart and some will make you want to hop into your muscle car and cruise with the windows down. Every time I listen to one of these CD's, I'm transported back to a simpler time. With every track I remember where I was or who I was dating and even the first time I got my heart broken. All the songs were hits so there's no skipping over tracks. And the fact that they sound even better than they did on my 45's is a bonus. It's a nice walk down memory lane.

Great addition to the set.
This was the last volume I needed to complete my set of super hits of the 70`s, Have a nice day and it continues the theme of one hit wonders and novelty songs of the 70`s. There are some gems here like Amii, Hocus Pocus and I`ve Got The Music In Me along with John Travolta`s ill fated stab at music fame, Let Her In. I had heard of all the artists except for Gunhil Road. This volume is very enjoyable. I don`t know if its the best of the series, probably in the top ten though.Rhino should re-release this series, either individually or collectively, because it`s a must have.

BUY THIS!
Ok, so you are asking, "Why should I buy this cd?" Well, the single version of "Amie" by Pure Prairie Leaguw, is reason enough. The other 11 tracks are just gravy on the roast. All the volumes in this series are exelent. If like me, you grew up in the 70's you will absolutely love them all. Most definantly worth the money.
