I just traveled to Europe, (April 2018) only took 1 pole, and had no trouble with getting thru TSA or the airline with the pole. It was very helpful with all the walking, stairs, touring in Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic. I stored the pole in the overhead compartment longways.

Q: Can anyone tell me how's the quality of this trekking poles？

I purchased these for my wife in 2017 and they keep getting out of adjustment and changing length and now one them is frozen so I cannot adjust the length at all. I will be replacing these with one of higher quality Austrian-type poles that that lock in place one and for all. They are sold at REI.

Maureen, I lived there when I was 19-21. I am now 60. My wife is from there and we went to Cuzco 2 years ago. A lot of good things have come to Peru.
