Awesome light, amazing customer service!
This is one of the only lights I've ever had that is bright enough that I feel comfortable full speed at night, even downhill. A lot of different brightness options, and a brilliant mode that lets you switch between ALL ON and medium, back and forth to those two modes only, without having to cycle through all the other stuff. An awesome light that does the job.On top of that, spectacular customer service. The mount had a warranty issue 4 months after purchase, and they took care of it immediately.PRO TIP—the rounded part of the mount is removable, so it fits perfectly on flat aero bars. Brilliant design that way!

Not Too Big, Not Too Small, Just Right!
Prior to using this light I used a Bontrager 700 lumen light that was not bright enough for my early morning commute & had to be changed daily. I then switched to a Magic Shine 4,600 lumen light, great light output & only needed to be charged twice a week but requires a bulky battery & a wire wrapped around the top tube. The Lezyne Mega Drive 1800 is a nice one piece unit that puts out sufficient light with decent battery life. I use it on the high setting(1,000 lumens) for my 45 to 50 minute morning commute & the strobe setting for my 40 minute ride home. I find the the battery needs to be changed every 2 days. It also has a port to allow a external battery to be connected which I hope to make use of for some bikepacking in the future. I also like that the rubber mounting strap allows for the light to easily be swapped from one bike to another. There are two things I dislike about this light. One is the stretchy rubber mounting strap, the strap must be stretched around the handlebar & then lock on the hook on the back side of the handlebars. The hook that the strap locks on to is very close to the body of the light itself & the rubber strap is more difficult to lock on too than it should be because the hook is too close to the body of the light. Secondly it takes at least 8 hours to fully charge the battery after the red light/low battery indicator comes on.All that said I'm happy with this light & recommend it to others who need a light for similar purposes.

Hands down one of the best bike light I’ve purchased
I like how bright the flashlight is & it gives you an option to use an app to program modes. Also it’s in s pretty sturdy mount that you can turn the flashlight left to right. & the bright latterly life is amazing if you conserve & put it on strobe. I don’t like that you can’t zoom in or it’s not an under the handle bar flash light. I bought it because it was time for an upgrade, my older flashlight kept dying & wasn’t a huge fan on the modes.

Big and heavy and not as bright as expected
I had high hopes for the Lezyne Mega Drive light. Unfortunately it is not much brighter than my other lights that are in the $30 dollar range. It is also too big and heavy for my needs. They should be ashamed of only offering the built in rubber mounting strap. It is very difficult to put on, and you will be putting in on and off all the time because it's too big and awkward to keep on all the time. Battery life is good as advertised. If a good mount were included I may have kept it, but I returned it due to these reasons. There are much better options in the high price range.

Best light I have ever had!
The light output from this 1800i is like daytime in front of you on the trail. I started with a Lezyne 600, then a 1000, then a 1300, and finally this 1800. All of them have worked excellent, but the 1800i is the crown jewel for sure. Super clean looking, compact and lightweight, durable, great run time. Now I run the Lezyne 1000 on my helmet, and the 1800i on the handlebars, oh what a combo! I sometimes ride pretty fast at night on a 180mm travel freeride type e-bike, and this combo makes enough light for 35 mph downhill blasts in the dark.

Great light for night riding
Light is great for night riding as it light road very nicly(probably brightest in rechargeable bike lights) but the rubber strap is very hard to put on.It takes much effort to lock in. Wish it was more innovative for this price point.Hope LEZYNE sells an upgraded strap for this light soon.

Great Light
I’m thrilled with this light. I wanted something that is bright on day flash, and would be there for me when I’m out in the dark. I’m a road rider, and on rural roads where there is no lighting, this light is outstanding. I can’t speak much to battery life when used in the dark, as my rides are more primarily during the day. Great battery life using a day flash.

Great compact light! No bulky external battery! Love them!
I bought two of these for my night riding and love them. I previously used the Serfas 1500s with the separate battery pack, but when one of the batteries died recently, it was cheaper to get two of these Lezyne lights and they provide a ton of light and are much more compact. One would probably be enough, but for the price, and the fact that I ride a lot at night as it’s the only time available, I decided to get two of them. Just as an FYI, I only ride trails on my Mtn bike (Phoenix North Mtn, South Mtn mostly, for exercise), so I cannot comment on road riding. Absolutely no problems, and would recommend them to anyone needing lights.
