This looked like a nice crochet set in the pictures, and I am even more pleased now that I see it in person. The case is three small cases that hook together. They are a little flimsy but form a very compact box with a handle on top makes it easy to take anywhere. The yarn and hooks are nice quality, and the colors are great.

TLDR:: I was not expecting a lot out of this kit, and it does have some pros, but the cons outweigh them (for me personally) & i would not recommend this kit to other, unless they were an absolute beginner & honestly probably not even thenFull Review::Yarn::++Yarn is very soft, 2 tiny skeins of each color--The colors are not very pretty. Grey, Brown, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Light Blue, Red. They grey is okay, the rest are just not very pretty versions of those colors (subjective, but that's my opinion)--One of my pink skeins of yarn is about 2/3 the size of the rest of themTools::++crochet hooks are the right sized for the included yarn++the crochet hooks also have nice soft grips--20 knitting needle caps is an awful lot of knitting needle caps to include in a crochet kit with no knitting needles. could have used something else to beef out the kit.++The place markers are great, very useful & always getting lost, so even if you already have them it's good to have more (could have used more instead of knitting needle caps!)Container::--absolutely awful. I had hoped to keep this in the car to crochet when i am waiting in line for school to let out so i can pick up my kid, but this container pops open at the slightest provocation. it barely closes and does not even fit the included materials well.Overall - it would be a good starter kit for a very beginner, but the container is so awful i would not want that to be an introductory experience to the craft, the colors chosen are not very inspiring & don't go particularly well with each other, the inclusion of large amounts of small parts that have nothing to do with the kit feels wasteful, i guess you could use them on a crochet hook too? but i just stick my hook through the project & ball of yarn when i set it down so it's all contained (& doesn't require extra stuff that i will lose) There are better kits out there
